A relatively painless death isn't exactly all that much of a punishment. Let him become the cell block's bitch for the rest of his life. A more fittting punishment. I've never really gotten the argument for the death penalty, just because life in prison seems worse. Though it does make sense if you have a lot of overcrowding in prisons. I agree. To me, to give the death penality for someone who deserves such a harsh punishment is almost like a mercy killing. Let them rot in prison.
