Enigma Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 Edge, who has been talked about a lot here on the site this past week, has suffered an injury as he prepares to return to WWE from his 2003 neck surgery. He was scheduled to start his rehab at Ohio Valley Wrestling last week, but somewhere along the way suffered a badly sprained ankle. 'Taker was originally supposed to return in January of 2000 and worked a match in Puerto Rico and re-tore his surgically repaired bicep (or tricep, can't recall which) and was sidelined another four months.

Healthy, he probably would've been heading to RAW, so I'm kinda figuring he'll be staying on Smackdown for now. But this probably means Triple H gets someone else to sedate his hunger to squash someone else though.

If there are plans for he and Triple H to feud, they can still pull that off as is - it might just be a longer wait before the initial in-ring meeting. The injury can even be played up on camera.

Wait, this might get Triple H to nicely saute his fresh "main eventer" and we get feuds that last for a couple of months! Which could be a good thing.

Luckily it's not too serious of an injury, because I'm beginning to want Edge back now the rumours have been flying around about him.
