I've only done bloodwork like once... The time I went, you go to like this little office place and they stick you in a room with 4 chairs. Each chair usually has a person in it and they just go and extract the blood there. Takes like 5 minutes at the most, and I didn't have to wait in line at all. The procedure's quite simple: - They disinfect the area (usually the inner elbow) - Tie a tourniquet around it - Find a vein - Stick the needle in you and extract as much blood as they need. I had to get 2 vials because I had two seperate things they were testing for. - Extract needle, stick 2x2 pad on wound, band aid.

No she's Italian. and I didn't just "knock her up" we were going out for a long time before I broke up with her because she has a drinking more than I was and I was trying to change my life around and she wouldn't too. that and she was a psycho. Friday she showed up on the doorstep with a baby she claims is mine. and then she guilt tripped me into looking after it for the weekend. Monday I want to file for a paternity test but I know nothing whatesoever about the process.

What are the chances it's yours... I'd say 50/50. I was pretty sure she was sleeping with one of her co-workers which is yet another reason I ended it but I really don't know for sure. About half of my friends that have seen Jeremy seem to think he's mine. This is really bad timing...not that there could be GOOD timing for this. Right now he's finally sleeping. we were up all night.

My life, as confused about it as you are, seems to bother you far more than it ever should. On a related-to-the-subject not though...I will be taking the same test as you CWM, in a few weeks. Yay.

IF that happens I have her Aunt's phone number somewhere in a box I think and I'll contact her. I always got along well with her but she's pretty old so she wouldn't be able to look after the kid either probably. I just don't know. I geuss I'd have to look into giving him to the Ministry. And I'd hate to do that because I know from personal experience how fucked up life is in the system.

MrRant Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Take a thin cloth and put a piece of ice in it and let the baby suck on it. Make sure it's not too thin. Also look for Hylands Teething Gel and Hylands Teething Tablets. Both work really well and are all natural so there isn't really the issue of giving it to a kid too young. The tablets dissolve instantly and work great at instant calm down almost. I would swear by them. You may have to cross the border for them as I don't know if they are in Canada but I do know they have them in Bellingham at Rite Aid and Walgreens.
