Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 New TV deal for TNA? - Lash LeRoux has been backstage at the TNA PPVs recently. Wrestlers like his dedication in driving four hours from Alabama each week despite not even being part of the roster. No word yet on if TNA plans to use him in the future. - TNA wrestlers were told by management last week to be on their best behavior, ie no swearing, no blood, etc. This has led to speculation that network executives were either in attendance at the show or watching on PPV. Lollipop was not even allowed to suck on her lollipop as TNA thought it to be too suggestive. Chris Harris said "ass" in his promo which got him a stern lecture from Jerry Jarrett backstage. Most feel that the network TNA has something going on with now is Fox Sports Network. Credit: Torch Powell Report
cynicalprofit Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 So if they can't swear, and can't do nudity, why even bother to have it on ppv where you can DO that sorta stuff?
MrRant Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 I noticed XPlosion was on Fox Sports Digital when I was going through my Tivo Suggestion list.

Guest JustinCredible2k Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 National TV Syndication of course. I hope they use the "Ragin Cagin" Lash Laroux. He was great in WCW.

Guest Coffey Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 So, the "news" about a TV deal is just more goddamn speculation? Great.
Placebo Effect Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Hell, if LeRoux is willing to come and hang out for no compensation, trout him out as a comedy character. One of things I loved about Russo when he was in WCW, was that the enormous talent pool he had allowed him to do absolutely stupid, but funny as hell, shit with guys who he knew people didn't want to see in the ring. If I wanted to waste ten minutes of life doing it, I could come up with fifteen ideas on how you could use the guy to their advantage without going beyond two minutes of TV time.
BoboBrazil Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Last time Lash Leroux was on TNA he was a fat out of shape piece of crap.
Zack Malibu Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 But when Lash was in shape in WCW and was ON, he had some pretty good matches. I used to like the guy, so if he's willing, give him a shot.
JoeDirt Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 I thought Lash was okay in WCW. He's not some God of workrate, but he's decent enough to have a spot on the roster if he's willing to work his ass off to be there.

If they got national TV and a good time slot, and actually put some money into the production aspect of things to make sure they didn't look minor league, I really think people would start watching.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Why was JustinCredible2K banned? PBP?
Guest Coffey Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 If they got national TV and a good time slot That's a really, really big if. It's not like that comes easily....
