JasonX Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Only Vic and Shane know they killed Terry. Lem and Ronnie don't know about it at all. They thought the black dude(I forget what his name was) they were breaking into the house after had shot Terry. Correct. Which is also why Vic freaked out when Lem brought up Terry's death a couple of episodes back, since he knows that if Lem and Ronnie found out about it that they would turn against Vic and Shane in a heartbeat.
Youth N Asia Posted June 3, 2004 Author Report Posted June 3, 2004 Errr...how could I have missed that? I'll need to rewatch the first 2 episodes and check that again. And the drug dealer was Two Time
JasonX Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Errr...how could I have missed that? I'll need to rewatch the first 2 episodes and check that again. And the drug dealer was Two Time Watching the second episode with it in mind that Lem and Ronnie weren't involved in Terry's death makes some stuff that you wouldn't notice the first time around stand out. Such as Vic's "Dear God, Lem's going to tear me limb from limb if he finds out I killed Terry" reaction when Lem breaks a car window with his bare hand out of anger over Terry's death and the "What the Fuck Is Going On Between Those Two" look Ronnie gives Vic and Shane when Vic tells Shane in an ominous sounding tone to tell the IAD investigators "The Truth" about what happened to Terry....
Youth N Asia Posted June 4, 2004 Author Report Posted June 4, 2004 I thought Lem was just putting on a show with the car window.
BlackFlagg Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 ok, am I the only one seeing this chick killing/trying to kill Aceveda while he's giving his victory speech in the finale?
HarleyQuinn Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Man...could they be trying to show Lem disassociating from the group anymore obvious?
BlackFlagg Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Ok, everyone who said that this weeks episode was just gonna be a filler needs to be bitchslapped, heh and g'damn, the finale looks
HarleyQuinn Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Man, looks like Lem torched all of it whilst leaving I'd guesstimate something $3 Mill or so. How much did they originally pull in the heist?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Bummer -- I thought there were two more shows left. Damnit. Oh, and I can't stand Shane's girlfriend with each passing week...
Youth N Asia Posted June 9, 2004 Author Report Posted June 9, 2004 What a great set up for the season finale, I can't friggin wait. I hate when the seasons for this show ends though. They've always gone out on a high note and I can't see this one being any different. I see Shane's girl sticking around just to stay a thorn in Vic's side. And I'll be pissed to see Lem go. The character really got good this season. Is David still going to be in charge for the start of season 4? I don't mind Claudette taking charge, but I hope the Captain sticks around. And Dutch has had a "bleh" season, hope he does something big next week.
LaParkaYourCar Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 They tease someone dying in the previews of next week, but they've done that before and it didn't happen. The one thing about the season ending next week is that we'll have to wait until March 2005 for Season 4 probably.
JasonX Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Damn....I wonder how much he burned? It looked like he burned just about all of the money. There was a shot right before they came into the room where you saw a pile of empty trunks in the corner of the room. Needless to say I was suprised that they successfully had Vic con Tavon into thinking he had done harm to Mara, let alone had Lem actually go through with the con-job. But then again it did help the main direction of the story, with Lem reaching his breaking point and having his nervous breakdown. Though I have to wonder how many people would catch the bit of fourth wall breaking on the part of Kenny Johnson in regards to his comment about how the Strike Team are his only family and how he didn't want to see any of them go to jail... That being said, next week's episode looks to be a good one: Vic confronting Dutch about his investigation of Vic, Claudette getting called out on her superiority complex, and hopefully Vic getting fed up with Shane and shooting him....
JasonX Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 I see Shane's girl sticking around just to stay a thorn in Vic's side. I disagree. They should get rid of her ASAP because of the fact that it's kind of annoying to have to see the ST running around with their heads cut off in fear of one woman getting them busted. And I'll be pissed to see Lem go. The character really got good this season. By all accounts, Kenny Johnson is going to be back for season four so I would assume that either he ends up being convinced to stay on the team or he ends up floating around and possibly ending up as Dutch's partner if they actually pull the trigger of splitting him off from Claudette. Is David still going to be in charge for the start of season 4? I don't mind Claudette taking charge, but I hope the Captain sticks around. From the preview for the finale, it seems like they are going to continue to ultra-slow burn the election storyline. As for Claudette, I'm assuming that she'll burn her bridges with the drug addict lawyer subplot only to have some sort of ace up her sleave to keep her from being targetted for retaliation, so as to keep her storyline up in the air. And Dutch has had a "bleh" season, hope he does something big next week. My guess is that the writers will have Dutch finally stand up to and get the better of Vic during their confrontation, which will reset their rivalry come next season. Which is good given how that was an interesting aspect during season one, in the way that Dutch and Vic absolutely hated each other with a burning passion.
Vyce Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 I gotta believe that after next week, either Shane or Mara or both are gonna be pushing up daisys. One of them has GOT to die. ....(at least I hope)
The Ill One Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Alright, B-U-M-P for the finale that's coming up! I totally forgot about it 'til I was like "Hey, it's Tuesday... oh hey! The Shield!" (Has no sense of time due to summer).
HarleyQuinn Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Dude, lol. I just saw this topic and I freaked(15 minutes till the finale) because I thought I had missed it.
Vyce Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Yes, that IS Andre from Outkast. Fucking awesome. And it's already past 10:30. Unless this finale is going to run long, somebody better die within the next 25 minutes.
teke184 Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 That was a bit low on Vic's part... Not that I wouldn't hit the Armenian chick myself but it's bad when he fucks her after her sister died in his arms and just after he ventilated Margos.
EdwardKnoxII Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Damn I was sure Shane or his wife was going to die.
Nevermortal Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Damn, I was hoping for another musical montage like the past two seasons. Really good season finale. Margos is finally dead and Shane/Vic finally have it out.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Mother Fucker -- I fell asleep and didn't tape it. Oh well, it'll (hopefully) be on later in the week. There weren't any closing music montages?...
Guest TUS_02 Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Mother Fucker -- I fell asleep and didn't tape it. Oh well, it'll (hopefully) be on later in the week. There weren't any closing music montages?... Nah, but with the way the season ended... you really won't be missing them.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 I really liked the tension with Claudette/David and Vic/Dutch. And how close was Vic to shooting Shane?
Youth N Asia Posted June 16, 2004 Author Report Posted June 16, 2004 I taped it. Couldn't miss the Pistons kicking Phil Jackson's ass. Great finale. When seasons 1 and 2 came to an end you got endings, sure there was more opened up, but you got an ending. After the last episode you got a real "to be continued" feel to it. And after 3 great seasons it was the right time to do that. And I'm really digging this whole Claudette and Dutch vs Everyone. I really want to see them play that out next season. Strike team have to stick together, but it'll be a fun rocky start next year. Jullian and Dani didn't have hardly anything this season. Especially with the last few episodes. Jules is maturing into a better officer, and Dani is moving back up. Although they stopped dead with her deal with the little snitch guy that was hitting on her.
Vyce Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 That was a bit low on Vic's part... Not that I wouldn't hit the Armenian chick myself but it's bad when he fucks her after her sister died in his arms and just after he ventilated Margos. That entire scene was incredibly hot.
LaParkaYourCar Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 I was loving Vic making fun of Dutch whenever he got the chance. I also like how they ended the episode before they went to talk to Lem at his house so that we don't know for sure if he's staying or not.
