My Vote goes to Summerslam 1988. Sure, it was the first, but the card reeked of mediocracy, and had very little significant matches.

Patera/Brown was a squash for BNB.

Rude/JYD advanced Roberts/Rude

Hercules/Roberts was....well, it sucked.

Demos/Harts was a little disapointing consideirng the SSlam 90 match was really good.

HTM's reign is ended by WARRIOR in 28 seconds. Sure, it was a "WOW" moment, but I would've expected maybe someone else in a longer match.

Out of the one's I've seen, I thought last year's was the worst. I honestly can't remember anything good about the show.

A lot of people hate on 95, but outside of Diesel/Mabel, the show never really bothered me.

I would've said SSlam 95, then realized Hakushi/Kid, HBK/Ramon, and Hart/Yankem were all in th 3 & 4-star territory. Plus Skip/Horowitz had a surprisingly good match that went more than 10:00 I think.

Um...why isn't 1993 on there?

Apparently, you seem to have forgotten the magic that was the Lex Express.

I've STILL got my wristband, BABY~!

Nah, I'm lying. I never had a wristband in the first place.

It would've been there if the poll had 11 slots, because I know it gets some hate despite being a generally decent show.

Well, everyones over-the-top hatred for HBK/HHH plus the fact I dislike Brock factored in.

Plus the under-card wasn't too memorable.

Jericho jobbing to Flair in 8:00? Undertaker/Test? Goldust & Booker jobbing...again.

RVD/Benoit was good I'll admit, as well as Angle/Rey Jr.

88 had nothing aside from a good Bulldogs/Rougeaus match. Everything else at least had something memorable. 88 was basically a fill in show except for the Mega Powers/Mega Bucks blowoff.

Second worse would probably be 1999.

I don't think there are 9 bad SSlam's.

It's all about opinions. 6 of the Summerslams have votes so far. And someone mentioned 1993, which makes 7.

What was so bad about 99? Aside from the ME, I always thought that it was a fun little show.

Aside from the Test match, nothing happened on it. It just wasn't very good, and wasting someone like Rock on someone like Billy Gunn didn't help things.

1993 was great. Dibiase's last WWF match, a great tag title match, a good six-man, the Bret stuff was great, the main event is underrated because of the crappy angle surrounding it and the guys in it (much like Hogan/Slaughter from WM VII), and it is always fun seeing Marty Jannetty and 123 Kid get squashed. Perfect/Michaels was really the only thing on the card that I didn't enjoy.

Agreed on the above. I think the problem with Perfect/HBK was that it wasn't BAD, it was just WWF hyped the fuck out of it, so no matter what, it wasn't going to be as good as expected.

The only BAD Thing: Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez II: The Feud That Needs To Die.

Why is Summerslam 95 in second place? 3 decent matches and the Ladder Match and yet people like Summerslam 99 better? you people must really hate mabel.

I hope everyone knows I mean the whole show in general. Not just the main event. Otherwise 1995 would be smoking everything else.

I completely forgot about Taker/Gonzales II. It was terrible.

The thing that really ruined Perfect/HBK for me was the ending. I just hated that, and watching the show live it completely deflated me for the rest of the night. It wasn't until I was able to look back at the show that I started to enjoy it.

What's with the Summerslam 99 hate. It wasn't great, but D'Lo/Jarrett, Test/Shane, Shamrock/Blackman and the 3-way main event are all decent-good matches, Snow/Boss Man is enjoyable crap, plus, as an Ivory mark I enjoyed the women's title match. 99 was a pretty good show. Certainly better than 96 or 94, which really was a one match show (Bret/Owen) and featured some utter joss (UT/Faker, Jarrett/Mabel, Tatanka/Luger)

Whats with the Summerslam 1995 hate? It's got more votes than anything. The only negative is the World Title. 4 Matches were in the 3 & 4-star range.

Now that I think about it, I didn't like SummerSlam 1990 all that much.

I voted for SS90.

SS95 is _NOT_ that bad a PPV. Diesel/Mabel sucks, yes, but anything with a near ***** is not the worst show ever. Throw in Hakushi/123, Bret/Kane, and HOROWITZ WINS~! and it's not the worst Summerslam ever, IMO.

Summerslam 1990 has a good tag team match...and that's about it.

That was shit compared to Wrestlemania. Good is ***. I think I'd rate Brock/Angle II at ** or so. Just too boring.
