Well, that says more about the so called "victims" of HHH and less about HHH himself. He hasn't done any of that. There's some kind of saying that goes along the lines of con men will be the most easily conned by other fellow conmen. It has to do with their personalities. If HHH wasn't married to Steph he'd still be in Vince's ear and stringing him along. This was evident before he married Steph. Being married to Steph just allows him to be in Vince's ear more often. And HHH is still one of the better wrestlers on Raw. Jericho, Benoit and maybe Storm or Hardy are the only ones I can think of right now who are better. Only difference Is...Shawn never let up in the ring...even at his most injured state, he still put on a damn show, while Hunts goes through the motions. Hogan made Vince TONS of money for many years and help put the WWF in the mainstream. But, the difference is that Hogan knows when to take a break or the change. In other words when the crowds was booing Hogan turned heel and joined the NWO, when the crowds start getting tired of Hogan's act he knows when to take a break so that when he comes back the fans will love him again. And Hogan did all of this WITHOUT marrying Steph. HHH doesn't do any of these things he just has to stay in the world title hunt ALL the time, he just can't take a break so the fans might miss him and if he is gone it's for a very short time and he's STILL in the top program. It's true that these 3 political experts have done their share of controlling Vinnie Mac, Hulk did it in the 80's but as soon as he stopped making money for Vince and the WWF fans were getting tired of his superman act, he was faded out by Bret.Hogan being the smart bastard that he is got the fuck out b4 passing the torch to Bret by "retiring". HBK did it in the mid 90's but with what he did backstage he made it up in the ring as a wrestler and as an entertainer, nowadays he is a shadow of his former self and has to lick HHH's boots to get the top babyface position on RAW. As soon as Vince realized that Austin was going to make him rich he decided for Shawn to pass the torch to him.At the same time HBK had that "career ending" back injury and got the fuck out b4 being faded out by Austin. Nash did it for a short amount of time because of Vinnie Mac's love of big men, he bombed as a champion and it took Vince a year to realize that his golden boy was a failure, he was about to get faded too but he knew what was going to happen and left WWF for more money at WCW. All these 3 guys were good politicians but as soon as Vince stops seeing money coming in, the friendship goes out the window and he starts searching for a new "friend" that will make him rich.Hunter still has his spot b/c he is part of the family, he is a McMahon, the son that Vince never had. And I'm not going to claim "civil disobedience" or some shit, I'll just state that I don't feel it should be illegal, since the negative side effects are easily no worse then booze or smokes. That, I think, is a lot different then coming right out and stating that using roids is ok. For one, they're known to have serious side effects, and this is WHY they're illegal. Besides that, I wasn't the one coming out and saying to everyone that using an illegal drug was OK. I merely defended the use of the drug in comparison to roids; I didn't advocate it in a public forum like HHH did. And that, I think is the worst part. Using roids, like most any other drug, on your own terms is one thing. But to come out in public and basically say that it's perfectly OK?
