Oh no...more ideas, but some are downright scary.

 

New major heel for The Undertaker? New heel for Smackdown? What about the possibility of Undertaker vs. Scott Steiner?

 

I agree Cena should/could be put on RAW, but then they're a little top heavy on faces (Benoit, HBK, Edge, and Cena, unless HBK decides to go heel, which I am all for). It would make sense if Orton got traded though, because it would be sending the IC champ to SD! for the US Champ.

 

Rikishi and Rosey should be put together as a new Samoan Swat Team. They won't suck any less, but it would get them out of the stale and silly gimmicks they both have. Make Rikishi back into "Bad Man" Rikishi, get Rosey back to his thuggish ways, and send Hurricane to hang with the cruisers.

 

Haas/Benjamin will stay together and stay on Smackdown, I'm thinking. I can see a feud with Bubba and D-Von over the whole "ability" issue. Haas/Benjamin will claim to be TWGTT, and that they never had to resort to tables or weaponry to get that far. Dudleys make the claim that THEY are TWGTT by virtue of all their title wins, and BAM!, insta-feud.

 

Vince also said we'd see some new faces, but honestly who's left in OVW besides Dinsmore or Nova that they should actually call up?

They should not split up HBK and Benoit. Dammit, I want to see that match at Backlash!

 

HHH can go on Smackdown, try to get an instant title shot. Wrestlers (guys who have been Smackdown for a while) can complain and say he just can't get a title shot like that. So HHH feuds with a random face (hell, let's just say Cena), while Eddie feuds with Big Show because he's never beat him.

I don't think they'd split up HBK/Benoit. With Backlash and the ensuing RAW in Canada, I can see him making a transition into a heel, although he'd have to drop the Bibleboy bit to do so.

 

What if Big Show went to RAW as a challenger to Benoit? Saying that Benoit took him out of the Rumble and then ran off before Show could get revenge? Then maybe send Kane to Smackdown in his place?

If we're going by my predictions, Kane or Orton would be the likely candidates, unless Jericho, Christian and Trish all get sent to SD! and Christian gets moved up the card after his Y2J feud is done with.

They need to keep some tag teams. So both brands should be allowed to name 2 or 3 tag teams, that won't be broken up. They can possibly change shows, but they would do has a team.

You can cry about them being the only good tag team...but let's face it...the tag division BLOWS...and at this point there isn't another team for them to have good matches with.

 

Put them on seperate shows...let them give Haas his push and Benjamin his. Two perfectly good midcard wrestlers with upside. And I think Benjamin can go all the way eventually.

They did that becasue he was in a triple-threat for the title and so was ineligible for the draft since there was a possibility he'd be the travelling Undisputed Champion.

Jericho Vs X (Hopefully a STEEL CAGE MATCH since it's in canada and all and it needs a blood match to blow the thing off)

 

So keep HBK, Benoit, Jericho, X and Orton at least...they can go ahead and shift the rest around...send HHH, Flair and Batistia to SD...leave Orton alone and see if he can truly get over on his own and it works in a subtle way...He can throw a bitch fit when he realizes All of evolution are leaving except him...

 

I'd Say set up 2-3 more matches off the new roster...I'd strip the titles of the IC/US/TAGS/WOMAN'S/CW...and set up various little Tournaments or multiple mans...

 

Have a 4 Man One night tounry to decide the New IC champion and Put the womans title back on Molly, so Vicky can be the sadistic bitch again. send the "raw tag teams" to smackdown regardless and only split up the WGTT(the one team that is SURE they are saying together)...Haas on SD and Benjamin on Raw.

A TRUE creative team could have booked the GM/brand rivalry and at least created an illusion of the intensity being as it was with the Monday night wars. The GM's going all out to screw over the other show by stealing talent they felt would make their show better. Little twists along the way could have freshened up each show when things got tired and created new matchups. Something like another lottery wouldn't be necessary had creative been creative.

But creative wasn't there, and they are running out of options...

 

I am really suprised they never really played up wrestlers having contracts per brand, and contracts expiring/renewing.

 

Wrestler A: My contract expires in 7 days, Im going to Smackdown

Bischoff: Renew your contract for another year, and I'll give you a Title Match next week on RAW!

Wrester A: Deal!

 

Or even crap where a GM would offer a wrestler a title shot to sign with their brand when their contract expires.
