Is WWE on the verge of getting a NEW logo soon...

After the WWF kicked their ass in courts over the initials "WWF" I thought a new logo a few months later would appear but that didn't happen..

 

Since this is the year that everything begins AGAIN....isn't it time for a new WWE corporate logo to appear to signal a new ERA..

What they should have done from the start, is throw the pandas a few bucks and draw up a new logo that doesn't represent "attitude", then they don't go through the whole name change and such. I'd still believe McMahon would jump at the chance to get the old name back in a minute.

Considering World Wildlife Foundation actually sold the rights to www.wwf.com to a wrestling forum, I do believe the WWE would have a case at smacking the World Wildlife Foundation good.

I meant maybe a seperate WWE logo for each show. It was just a random thought. The only reason I don't think they'd go for a new logo is because they would have to make new belts with the new logo.

RAW needs a new set that does NOT look like any version of the current one, it needs a new theme, it needs new PBP team, RAW also needs a new IC title, although the old one was pretty bad ass.

First and foremost, I suggest doing away with the titan tron in favor of one or two smaller screens. That big screen is most representative of the "old" era and will impede any sense of a "new" and exciting product that they hope to achieve. Furthermore, they should get rid of the stage and ramp and use the walkway that they usually only bring out whenever somebody has a large vehicle to bring to the ring (i.e. Austin's beer truck/Angle's milk truck). I think the best days of RAW were when the show was held in the smaller, more intimate venues. Obviously, a severe loss of revenue would clearly prevent a return to those arenas, so they need to attempt to re-create that feeling in the larger arenas. I think the walkway would go a long way in doing that.

SmackDown!'s current theme is also fairly new, so if not for the "Where It All Begins... Again" phrase, then I can't see them changing it. Unless they already have, which wouldn't make sense except for it being the show after WrestleMania XX.

 

Raw's set is fine. I think that SmackDown! needs a set like it.

 

Changing it all now would be very corny.

They really should just use the WMXX set. It looked amazing in person and is smaller and classier than the TitanTron. Hell, they could even make different background cities for wherever they are just like they had the NYC skyline.

 

Hopefully the PBP teams will get flipped. I'd like to have JR and Tazz (and maybe Coach) on RAW and Lawler and Cole on Smackdown. It'd certainly freshen up that aspect of the show.

 

WWE just needs to bring back the classic IC title from the Bret/Shawn era and throw the new logo on it.

I'm glad I'm not alone in the hate for the RAW set. It's been practically the same for 5-6 years, with MINOR (and I mean minor) tweaks now and then to seem different.

 

A Completely new look would be a nice change.

As I said, changes would seem as if they're trying too hard for everything to begin... Again, so it would be rather corny now.

 

Although a Raw set change would be nice, I'll admit that. I just hope that it stays as large as it is, and doesn't change into a SmackDown! set. When I mentioned it changing, I mean that it should actually get the proper ramp that Raw does, with the TitanTron, etc.

The RAW set has never ever changed...all we've seen is new additions or just a little twist to the set...nothing is different...still has the feel of the first RAW Titan Tron back when RAW was changed to RAW IS WAR..

Raw does need a face-lift and that means more then shaking up the roster. I'd debut the new look the first Raw after next week...which is in CINCY i believe.

 

Not sure how it SHOULD look but something simple would be great. Hell, change the COLOR. move Ross and King(or lose him period) back to ringside

They should put the Raw announcers back near ringside. All moving them really did was establish that Bischoff was screwing around with Raw just to exercise his power (and starting many retarted "OMFG! Raw is gonna be renamed Nitro!" rumors). And maybe JR/King would be able to focus more on the match if it were closer to them.
