I think the Powers Of Pain were helped greatly by their face entrance theme when they arrived in WWF. Once they turned heels and the entrance theme was history the buzz when they were coming to the ring och celebrating a victory was gone.

 

In fact, I believe that was a considerable part of the reason for their lack of heat after the double turn at Survivor Series 1988.

The marching theme seemed to fit in perfectly with the walk through the locker room and the fireworks that followed. The tempo of the music just seemed to have that whole "Goldberg is coming out to kick some ass" feeling, and it had the ability to excite fans even more.

 

Seriously, I don't know if Goldberg would ever have been as over as he was without his entrance music in WCW.
