Guest CronoT Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Well...Guess TBS went and got the operation afterall... I wanted RVD to turn damn it. RVD is almost unturnable. He's almost like Austin during the peak of his career; he can do no wrong....
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Hmm a fresh show for once instead of Cena/other face v. Lesnar/Show/ATrain or other heel. Booker T as a heel is needed to me because his babyface run was way past it's usefulness. And yup, BOOKER T v. EDDIE GUERRERO. I'd post my little dialogue from earlier in the day, but I'd risk using a bad word.
NYU 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Well, at least we won't continue the RVD/Booker T tag team. But this certainly doesn't sound like a push is being started for Van Dam. Which was all I wanted out of this trade.

treble 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 So, I'm going to assume (or hope and pray) that Eddie/Bradshaw will just be SD's 'big' match the week of Backlash. Cena and Durpee could actually be entertaining, but will probably just lead to some lame raps about French people wanting to suck his cock.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 So Bradshaw is doing the IRS gimmick of I know about the stock market because I appear on the Fox News weekend talk show?

bob_barron 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 The last time I saw Booker vs. Eddie it was a *horrible* match. Booker and Eddy have fought twice in WWE. They fought on July 7th in the RAW where everything went wrong. The match was really rushed and had a botched finish and neither looked like they wanted to be out there. They fought again on July 28th. It was again too short and a bit slow but it was pretty decent. Hopefully they gave them some time. I also like that they seem to be building up Eddy as a fighting champion. It reminds me of Bret Hart in 1992.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Lately (well, once), SmackDown! have used a mid-carder to feud with the WWE Champion while Raw have had a Pay-Per-View. This totally sucks about Bradshaw, but it's getting him over for his dayjob. And... these are the SmackDown! taping results, right?
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 he even uses the Write Off... sort of.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 I don't see why they turned Booker heel and then jobbed him out to Eddie. Why not have Eddie win a good match and THEN have Booker turn heel to start a feud? I guess we'll wait until full results are up.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 24, 2004 I hope Bradshaw repos Eddy's Lo-rider because Eddy didn't Pay his taxes.

JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Comments from another board from people in attendance: "It was kind of weak. Highlights include the 15 minute sleeper hold of death by booker T. Jackie/Rico getting more cheers than half the Smackdown roster, during the Velocity taping. And a kid holding a sign that said Trade HHH to Heat. The Dudley Boyz are uber over, Dupree got tons of heat. Watch Velocity to see Bob Holly shove and announcer for no reason." "They probably won't show Eddy beat up Bradshaw after what looked like the end of the show either. By the way, when thew new Bradshaw comes out, go do something, anything else, his speech killed any momentum the entire show had." "Ya, I was there live as well...show definately was the worst of the 4 live shows i've ever attended."
deancoles 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Since there's a question mark by the opponent of Rene Dupree it's either Orlando Jordan or Paul London who the casual Smackdown fans don't recognize.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 My impression from the last Eddie/Booker match was that Booker couldn't keep up with Eddie and they were on totally different pages. Booker became really exposed in it and I haven't been able to look at him the same since.
