Ok What the Hell was the Point of that Draft???

Shake things up?

They traded bunch of low carders for other low carders...

Few notiable shifts in shows HHH to Smackdown as well as the Dudleys

but beyond that there wasn't anything really dramatic?

It seems the whole system was fucked up they should have randomized both rosters in one bin and just pick who they get...... and the later results was crap too. It wasn't Roster wide.... Just a handful. how was that a shake up?

all n all a Disappointment...

your thoughts

Well, after Smackdown there is a little less and more of a shakeup, which i won't go into. (Don't feel like some moron yelling SPOILERS!!)

All in all, i thought it was a good thing. It allowed them to jump start new feuds, without a complete restart. I thought a complete restart would have been a TERRIBLE thing - completely insulting to anyone who bought at all into a brand seperation.

I think the whole thing was setup for Triple H to get a title shot and further the point that he's the most valuable guy in the WWF.

And maybe to get the Tag Titles back on Batista and Flair.

I wouldn't have minded it near as much if they hadn't hyped this up as a "new beginning" and an earth shattering event. They made it sound like big changes were coming and hyped up groups being split and nothing really happened. Evolution is still together and Eric will continue to play favorites despite what Vince said.

At least 6 new guys on each show is a shake up. There are usually 4 or 5 matches per show so having new guys mixing it up makes a big difference. Plus, people are interested, talking and watching the shows.

The main events aren't bad right now on the shows. Eddie and Benoit alone being in there is new and different. It's time to build back up the mid-card.

Right ... assuming Smackdown is the last of the roster changes for a while, the majority of the changes will end up affecting the midcard and especially the RAW tag team brand which was decimated in the process.

WWE is probably hoping to give the midcarders they moved a bit of a push in the right direction with the change of scene which seemed to help out Big Show and Mark Henry in the past. Which is good news if they actually follow through and develop young guys like Dupree and Shelton. It also seems to be a catalyst to start the uppercard pushes for Booket T and Edge away from being a step away into the main events (again in the case of Booket T). In the process, I hope that RVD, Palumbo, Train, and Haas also get a bit of a boost from the moves but I bit less enthused about their prospects to be truthful.

The whole TripleH thing can still set up a bit of an issue with Evolution if they feel like it, ("Hey guys! I'm back!" "We were ready to take over and we will do it anyway") as well as Shawn Michaels being pumped about having Eric behind him. Those are complete MMMMmmaybes though.

I guess it also promises that we'll get treated to another 6 months of the HHH/HBK feud.

Yeah especially with Shawn's obsession with HHH.

Shawn: Look Eric, this feud ain't over. Yeah he beat me in the last 3 PPVs in a row, but give me just ONE more chance, I swear, it's the last one.

I have to admit, I was just as shocked as anyone when I saw HHH traded back to RAW, and I think that was the whole reason. Just to piss of the HHHaters and internet marks. Good Job, Vince. We'll see if the ratings stay that high after you swerve the fans.

They should of traded Kane along with Booker T and Dudley Boyz and add Hardcore Holly, and The Bashams to go to RAW. Smackdown! needs a strong heel, and Kane can do that if booked right.

Well, from the changes here's the breakdown:

RAW TOP FIVE FACES:

1) Chris Benoit

2) Shawn Michaels

3) Edge

4) Chris Jericho

5) ????

RAW TOP FIVE HEELS:

1) HHH

2) Randy Orton

3) Flair & Batista

4) Kane

5) Christian

SD! TOP FIVE FACES:

1) Eddie Guerrero

2) Undertaker

3) John Cena

4) Rey Mysterio

5) Rob Van Dam

SD! TOP FIVE HEELS:

1) Big Show

2) Booker T

3) Chavo Guerrero

4) Rene Dupree

5) Bradshaw?

*****I didn't include non-wrestlers. If I did Austin/Foley go into the top faces and Angle goes to top heel, which I think he will in like a month or so. But either way, SD! needs a heel, and they lost it I guess. But atleast Eddie's reign is safe.

So would Tajiri, Rhyno, Shelton be IC or Tag team contenders? I don't see them as main eventers because HHH vs HBK will last until somebody's has to retire do to injuries. And Edge should be next in line for a title shot when HHH gets tired of playing with Beniot.

Rhyno I think should stay in mid-card...be a hard force to stop.

Tajiri...should have stayed on Smackdown. But...I'd also like him in the IC division if possible.

Shelton Benjamin I COULD see becoming a main event player in a few years.

Rhyno will be in Sunday Night Hell and Tajiri will be an IC contender as soon as Orton drops the title. If Benjamin becomes part of a tag team that defeats the purpose of breaking up TWGTT.

Micheals and Edge are ahead of Benoit, as is Austin (I know, I know, you said this was just wrestlers, but still).

When in the hell did Bradshaw and Booker T turn heel?

At the SD! tapings.

My bad, I wasn't thinking right there and it won't happen again.

It's not spoilers as the WWF announced it yesterday.
