Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 I'm 220lbs. Let's say, hypothetically, a 135lb man came and attacked me viciously for no apparent reason and I hit him to get him away. How is that any different than a 135lb woman attacking me viciously for no apparent reason and I defend myself in the same way? They're both going to be just as frail. I'm close to that size but just an inactive overweight guy. A 135lb guy pretty much kicked me into the wall in a struggle once. But he's also a tall skinny guy, over 6' tall and with really strong legs as he does regular outdoor sports. I doubt many women who weight 135 would be doing the same thing. The other thing was, if this weight was MUSCLE, there's be no justification to it whatsoever. I have very little muscle for the aforementioned lack of exercise. I know Spare Tire Steve Austin isn't a musclebound stud, but there's no reason for a guy big enough to bodyslam people for a living to be hitting women. Guest Brian Report post Posted March 27, 2004 Again, we don't have the info. The report sounds like he pushed, not hit, her, so he may have been trying to diffuse the situation. But until we have everything, we're all just jumping to conclusions, many of whom have been waiting to bury the guy for quite a while.

Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 (edited) Wow, Eddie weighed 250 pounds? Anyway, this is all assumption, so I won't say anything else after this post until further information is shown. But IMHO, if a person is A) Striking you B) Provoking you or C) Not leaving you alone, woman or not, that person is going to face some consequences. Austin didn't hurt her (Okay he did, sorta, but not enough for being arrested IMO, according to info, and according to info, he pushed her. But right now i'm with Austin on this because it was just a push. Heck, if I went out and pushed someone, I wouldn't get arrested. It's because she's a woman, and that's really not right, IMO. Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 Update from Meltzer by Dave Meltzer Dave@wrestlingobserver.com Steve Williams (Stone Cold Steve Austin) was involved in an alleged domestic dispute last night at his home in San Antonio which saw police come to his residence. The story was reported earlier today on KSAT in San Antonio. Williams, 39, was not arrested, despite reports to the contrary, and is still scheduled to appear at an autograph session in New Jersey tomorrow. His 37-year-old girlfriend, who was not identified, and who he is reportedly in the process of breaking up with, called police last night. She claimed Williams had shoved her to the ground, injuring his hands and knees and she was fearing bodily injury. She indicated a willingness to press charges. I was unaware someone could get injured so bad from a shove. EDIT: She's probably after money anyway cause Austins rich and stuff.

Probably a typo, but I doubt someone would get injured that bad from a shove as well. If it was her head or chest or back or something, I understand. This is just a bad break for Austin though. Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 if its the case that she injured her hands and knees in this shove, it would have to be a pretty high velocity shove or she was completely caught off guard. and unless it was violent shove she probably went through something, a end table, a coffee table, some glass. that involuntarly broke her fall and injured her. But whew! he's not arrested that should make ya'll happy... Only three more days till raw hopefully he'll be on to entertain ...no harm no foul....right? If someone keeps bothering the heck out of you, badgering, or just annoy the hell out of you, woman or not, you just MIGHT get shoved. I don't see, that IF Austin was being annoyed or bothered or if she literally provoked him, again this is assumption, why he wouldn't shove her away. This woman thing, I mean, I personally don't hit woman, and have never been in a situation like that, but if woman get to beat the hell out of you, and bother you, and a man just has to stand there, then what kind of society are we living in? To each his own. With me, I actually have to either be defending someone or have been physically provoked (by a male) Of course, since I don't act on alot of things I might want to, when I finally do, I lose my mind on the guy. She got beat so bad the cops probably said "This is fucking pointless. We're not arresting him for something this stupid." And who is his g/f? An ex-female wrestler like Debra who probably got paid well for doing nothing? Or maybe some random bitch who just wanted to get money. It's not out of the question as a posibility. It's like everyones calling Steve Austin the next Dick Slater (who actaully DID attempt to murder his g/f)

Although all the "beating Debra" accusations were of course real, I usually wait til there's real evidence besides the woman's word. And what someone does in their personal life (like this) I could care less about. Doesn' effect me in any way. I'm just surprised so many people care about who Austin smacks, pushes, and insults in his personal time. I'm just trying to be the vocie of reason to the madness. From a selfish stand point, I hope this gets him off tv for good. Thank you! What's with all this bullshit 'Austin is famous, so the girl is OBVIOUSLY just faking injuries to get money!'? Think about it this way: if this lady wanted to get money, wouldn't she make up other injuries? Like her back getting thrown out, or something like that?
