kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 Now I realize most of you out there are either getting high or trying to get laid on the weekends, but for the few of us who aren't I'm just curious to see if anyone watches those cheesy weekend-only shows on cable news. For me, I can't miss an episode of (OMG) FAUX NEWS (LOL2004) Watch. I can't explain this attraction. It's just there. And to make matters stranger, my favorite person on that show is Neal Gabler of FAIR. Pinkerton is OK, but his delivery is terrible. Cal Thomas is just there and I want to take a bat to Jane Hall's skull...
Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted March 27, 2004 Suicide > Fox. But anyways, I don't normally watch weekend shows, but on weekdays I always watch The Abrams Report, Scarborough Country and Countdown with Kieth Oberman~!. During the monrings I'll watch Lester Holt Live; all on MSNBC or Jayson Williams Tial LIVE on Court TV. (Do you not know how fucking awesome that is?) Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 On the weekends, the cable stations just kind of turn into a crapfest of pre-recorded programmng and little interesting. Broadcast is where it's all at. I like Meet The Press if I remember to see who's on it. Russert and Fox News Sunday (oddly enough) have the toughest interviews. In the leadup to Iraq, Tony Snow was actually giving good questions to Colin Powell. Biggest Pushover is George Stephanopolis, who let Powell (who did almost all the programs on one Sunday) just sit and spin the administration's rhetoric without challenge. NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2004 I used to watch Ventura's show for the month it was on. I usually just randomly switch around due to boredom.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2004 Not so much a particular show, but I'll watch pretty much anything on Fox that has Kiran Chetry or Dari Alexander on it.

Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 I know loathe almost all of Cable News. Let's discuss the topic of job outsourcing. On one side it's Susan Estrich on the other side Kellyanne Fitzpatrick. Gee I wonder if they'll both tow the party line. Jobber is right Meet the Press, and Fox News Sunday are the best. Russert is the best interviewer today. Fair, but asked the tough questions to both sides.

kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Since network television is being brought up here, I have to give props to Russert. Oh, and with all the "FAUX NEWS" jokes that go around here, isn't it funny how George Steph-whatever-his-name-is anchors one of these shows?...
