Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

State police have charged a 15-year-old Latrobe girl with child pornography for taking photos of herself and posting them on the Internet.

Police said the girl, whose identity they withheld, photographed herself in various states of undress and performing a variety of sexual acts. She then sent the photos to people she met in chat rooms.

A police report did not say how police learned about the girl. They found dozens of pictures of her on her computer.

She has been charged with sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography.

Police said they are trying to identify all the people who receive photos from the girl.

It happened in Latrobe, which is in Westmoreland County, WAY outside Pittsburgh city limits/Allegheny County.

Even though I live in Westmoreland County, my local tax dollars didn't fund this either (North Huntingdon represent). Although I'm sure our state taxes are another story.

But don't worry, Mayor Smurfy will find other ways to waste your money...

The question, was she hot?

That, sadly, was my first response as well.

shouldn't the two guys that RECIEVED it be the ones arrested?

You'd think so --- but that vile temptress probably needs the punishment more. :)

'Twas a joke.

Though, quite frankly, if a girl sends nude photos of herself over the internet, I don't see how a crime was actually committed. Nobody coerced her to do it --- she made a choice, bad as it may be.

...Why girls want to show their tits on the internet is not something I'll ever grasp

...Why girls want to show their tits on the internet is not something I'll ever grasp

My theory: it's as risky and risque as one can get while also knowing that you'll probably never ever MEET them. I mean, if a girl flashes some guy in person, she can't just run away and never see him again; he'll probably want/expect more. On the internet, though, she could just change email accounts/SNs/chat rooms and poof!...she's vanished. Basically, it's both very personal and very anonymous, and it lets girls show off what they got without the recipient of the flash expecting some sweet, sweet lovin' in return.

Makes more sense than any theory I could have possibly come up with.

Howard Stern is going to be blamed for this.

He wishes he were relevant enough to be blamed for this.

Howard Stern is going to be blamed for this.

And if he is, he'll find some illogical way to blame it on Bush.
