Downhome Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Just the usual thread of this kind that we see every week, for those of us that don't want to read the spoilers, thanks. Sincerely, ...Downhome...

JoeDirt Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Anyone want to post non-spoiler Velocity matches, too?

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Big show vs. Rikishi Rey Mysterio and Spike Dudley vs. Chavo Jr and Chavo Sr Charlie Haas vs. Rob Van Dam Booker T vs. Hardcore Holly Dudleys vs. Akio and Sakoda John Cena vs. FBI (unzio and Stambolli) Respectively: No comment. Interesting - Spike Dudley is the new Cruiserweight jobber. Editing this one in: Didn't we have this match last week? A feud? Alright, but do it right. Hopefully not a pointless turn for Holly. Should be an alright match, though. Bubba and D'Von won't mesh well with Akio and Sakoda - but at least Tajiri's ex-henchmen aren't relegated to Velocity. Hmmm... Remember when John Cena and the FBI were a team? Mark Jindrak vs. Shannon Moore Danny Basham vs. Billy Gunn Rico vs. Jamie Noble Same drill: Mark Jindrak's push starts, and they're killing two birds with one stone by pushing Moore as a jobber - which would only work if Jindrak was turned into a monstrous heel, which is doubtful. Should be one for the ages. Rico VS Noble will probably be the best match out of both shows, even though this obviously isn't the full Velocity card. At least it's better than the Raw brand in mid-2003.
Just John Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 The SD card doesn't look very exciting. At all.
Youth N Asia Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Doesn't look great. Smackdown is just missing too much namepower right now. What's Eddie do?

CanadianChick Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 RVD vs. Charlie Haas Oh geez. I really hope this doesn't turn into even-steven booking. You know, something like Haas winning with a rollup.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 I must have missed Charlie Haas VS Rob Van Dam. This almost guarantees a feud, and if it does, who should be the one to come out on top? The SmackDown! newcomer or the guy that needs it more? RVD has been reported as not getting much of a push at all, so let's hope that, if they are put into a program, it's the rookie that comes out on top - culminating in Charlie Haas VS Shelton Benjamin at WWE WrestleMania 21. Note: Last part rushed.
Steviekick Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 RVD vs. Charlie Haas Oh geez. I really hope this doesn't turn into even-steven booking. You know, something like Haas winning with a rollup. Propably RVD will wind up winning, and then we'll get the mini-feud going. At this point, RVD's character is pretty burnt out (no pun intended), and will propably get rebuilt since for some strange reason he's still marketable and very over, even though they've done everything to bury him.

I don't think that they should have a mini-feud. Give them a proper feud with some nice build for a Judgment Day blow-off, but leaving the door open for further down the track.
