nl5xsk1 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Wow, they are booing like crazy for the anthem. The Habs fans booed the anthem 2 years ago, too ... for a city that tries to pride itself on being classy and Euro-esque, they really have low-class fans up in Montreal. Other than Philly, they're fans might be among the worst I've encountered while seeing games on the road.
Urban Warfare Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Cloutier has returned to Vancouver.... At least Hedberg has some expirence in the playoffs in the past, being with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 This is good for the Canucks. Sue me but I've seen first hand(being a Pens fan) what Hedberg is capable of and he's capable of more than Cloutier.
the pinjockey Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 There has to be a special spot in hell for the creator of thundersticks, right?
treble Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 They have to find a way to make SOME noise in Jersey. And fuck, this game's going to give me a heart attack. At least the Sens fans booing Sundin is kinda funny and lightens the mood, a bit.
Drury37 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I am a Rangers fan so I kind of don't care but are the Islanders ever on? I guess they are on Metro TV and I don't get that. Thanks.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Man, without Belfour the Leafs would be dead.
CanadianChris Posted April 13, 2004 Author Report Posted April 13, 2004 Ed Belfour = Toronto Maple Leafs. I can seek some solace in the fact that he can't keep playing like this forever. At least, I hope not.
treble Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 He has 4 shutouts in his last 5 games overall, 3 against the Sens. He's in some kinda zone right now.
starvenger Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Ed Belfour = Toronto Maple Leafs. I can seek some solace in the fact that he can't keep playing like this forever. At least, I hope not. I kinda hope he does. You need a hot goalie to help you win the Cup these days. Leafs have home ice advantage again. Gotta love that...
Tawren Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Amonte gets two goals but NJ keeps plugging and gets the win. St. Louis wins! Wooo! Not dead yet! Keep it going boys.
Gert T Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Thank you for New Jersey and Dallas winning tonight, and making my picks of them locks!
Red Baron Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 can't anyone pin this thread? 2-1 MONTREAL
Lightning Flik Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 can't anyone pin this thread? 2-1 MONTREAL Now, see, I need to be the Sports Mod (sarcasm/joking). Anyways, that second goal against Raycroft was just brutal. What the hell is Boston doing making a line change that late in the period?
Red Baron Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 eh, it wouldn't be as bad, if Raycroft actually covered the puck, instead Boston is down 2-1
Lightning Flik Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 WTF is up with Boston? This is just a poor game from Boston's end.
Lightning Flik Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 And Quintal is out with a injury to his hand. Not good for Montreal...
Lightning Flik Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Quintal's back. That's good news for Montreal. Expecting something pretty bad.
Red Baron Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 I think Boston is physically tired, like 2 years ago. Montreal is out hitting and out chasing Boston to the puck, and finally beating Raycroft.
Coolclint Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 These fans in Nashville are being TOTAL PRICKS to the Red Wings... I love being up 2-0 at home.
packwingfn Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 both detroit and boston just arent playing well on the road. both being outplayed and outskated. lets see if boston can come back and tie it with this short power play!
Lightning Flik Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 WTF did they not put out Perrault?? WHY? You stupid Montreal Canadiens not do that? Stupid... It's in. 3-3 tie. You stupid idiots.
packwingfn Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 these refs are protecting the goalie too much and callin too many goalie interference penalties.
Red Baron Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 refs are reallly letting the game go... surprised Boston isn't in the box more often than they should be
