Guest Choken One Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 What are the best coliseum home videos out there?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 What are the best coliseum home videos out there? The Best Of WWF Volumes 1-20 silly Seriously, I don't think there are GREAT Coliseum Videos. Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits though is classic for the Pipers Pit segments. Monday Night Raw: Prime Cuts has a few really good title changes and memorable moments. And everything else is mediocre.
spman Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 The Hart Foundation one is really good. Smack Em Whack Em has 2 really over rated amtches on it.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Raw: Prime Cuts has nothing bad on it. It features some great matches, memorable moments and title changes. Macho Madness is awesome and has a number of Savage/DiBiase matches flirting with ****.
Guest Choken One Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 I brought these 3 for 4 BUCKS yesterday Invasion of the Bodyslammers WWF's Hottest Matches Grudges Gripes and Grunts They had Macho Madness...but I didn't get it...FUCK.

I have IotB and GG&G, and niether are that good. Decent for 1993 stuff, but that's it. I do mark out seeing Mega Maniacs vs. Beverly Brothers on GGG though.
Guest Choken One Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Choken, where did you get them? flea market baby...Billy Kidman was there too.
deancoles Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 High Flyers is a good tape,it only has 4-5 matches but you get a good Savage/Virgil match and a really good Jumping Bomb Angels match. Saturday Night's Main Event has a Rockers/Brainbusters match and some other good matches.
Aero Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 I just bought Wham Bam Bodyslam, which is a pretty fun Coliseum tape. Decent matches included are Bret & Bulldog vs. Owen & Anvil, Bret vs. Owen (Lumberjack), 20-Man Battle Royal, Alundra vs. Bull Nakano, and HBK, Diesel, & Tatanka vs. Luger & Smoking Gunns. Can't go wrong when DiBiase is the host.
MillenniumMan831 Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Other than the ones mentioned - Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - British Bulldogs - Best of WWF 3, 7, 9, 13, 15, & 19 - Wrestling's Country Boys (Just seeing if you're paying attention) - Macho Man Randy Savage & Elizabeth - Rampage 1991 - Life & Times of Capt Lou Albano (ONLY if you're an Albano fan, obviously) get my highest recommendation (Like that means a hill of beans). Choken, you passed on Macho Madness? Tell me they were asking $29.95 for it. Ah well, nice work anyways. And because of Wham Bam Bodyslam, I'll always recognize Owen Hart as a former WWF Champion.
Betty Houle Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 And because of Wham Bam Bodyslam, I'll always recognize Owen Hart as a former WWF Champion. I recognize Terry Taylor as a former World Champion. I understand that that means a lot to him.
Lil' Bitch Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Bret & Bulldog vs. Owen & Anvil, Bret vs. Owen (Lumberjack) Oh how much I would love to have those capped
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 The one Coliseum Video I think is THE WORST OF ALL TIME: The "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan CV. If you like his promos and his matches with evil russians and evil frenchmen, you'll love it. Edit: Wrestlefest 1993 also looks good, and includes the great Perfect/Flair retirement match from the Jan. 25th, 1993 Monday Night Raw. I just need to get me a copy.
Guest Choken One Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Choken, you passed on Macho Madness? Tell me they were asking $29.95 for it. Ah well, nice work anyways. it wasn't in a box...so I figured it was some fluff piece video filled with Dusty Rhodes and Various Squash Matches... DAMN IT.
MillenniumMan831 Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Edit: Wrestlefest 1993 also looks good, and includes the great Perfect/Flair retirement match from the Jan. 25th, 1993 Monday Night Raw. I just need to get me a copy. It's an alright video, but it seems like it takes forever to get to that Perfect/Flair match. Although, Savage/Taylor and Razor/Santana are fun matches. But, I'm a huge mark for Tito so different strokes for different folks.
Guest TDinDC1112 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Hart Foundation, no doubt about it.
Kardo Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Wrestlefest 1993 Really good Nasty Boys vs. Money Inc © Tag Title Match Terry Taylor vs. Randy Savage that hits the ***1/2 Perfect vs. Flair Shawn Michaels vs. Virgil
bob_barron Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 No love for Slamfest 95??? Diesel v. Lex Luger in a pretty good match. Davey Boy/Bret v. Anvil/Owen and of course... THE KLIQ TAG MATCH!!!

Seriously, not for casual fans, but the Slammy's footage alone keeps it from being the worst CV ever.
