Guest Dids Report post Posted April 8, 2004 As a lifelong hip-hop head- some of these answers and making the baby Dids cry. "Renee!?" I hate making lists, but off the top of my head right now. A Day Like Any Other- Siah and Yeshua daPO ED Forrest Whitaker- Brother Ali Nothing But Sunshine- Atmosphere Me and Jesus the Pimp in the '79 Granada Last Night- The Coup No Regrets- Aesop Rock Renee's my sentimental favorite. If you want the honest truth, it was one of me and my cousins favorite songs around the time he passed away ('96) as it was getting major airplay at the time. It brings back some good memories, so that's why it's high on my list of songs. So noted. Good reasons. There's lots of songs that have the same effect on me for different reasons. I'm partial to Ma$e's first album just because it reminds me of the times I had with my friends.

Papacita 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 For my favs...I'm probably forgetting a lot of stuff, but off the top of my head... "I'm Bad" by LL "One Mic" by Nas "Let's Go" by Kool Moe Dee "I Ain't Mad At Cha" by Pac And since I've gotta pick a Jay-Z song...uh...I'm tempted to say "Lucifer" off of the Black Album (that's probably my favorite song from him right now) but I'll go with "Dead Presidents". spiny norman 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 I really don't like rap. Thus my top five: 1. Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby 2. Kriss Kross - Jump 3. Morris Minor & The Majors - The Stutter Rap 4. Salt N Pepa - Push It 5. MC Hammer - U Can't Touch This I really like the late 80s/early 90s, however.
