Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Is it me or has Rhyno's Recent stint in the WWE just been Anti Climatic? Rhyno was tauted on making a impact but lately the only thing he has impacted is the Canvas when he bumps for everyone else. How can anyone take Rhyno Seriously anymore? You can't. But before this arguement to have any depth we would have to go back to the beginning... (timmmmeeee Shifftttt) its ECW late 90's Rhino is a ECW Monster.... his was the most violent of spears. He was a Animal a Monster a Unstopable juggernaught. He left the company the World and TV Champion there. then he comes to the WWF. Hooks up with Team ECK becoming team uh... ECKR? Rhyno then jumps into the Hardcore world doing quite decent of himself...Then came the Invasion. Rhyno becomes the Hired gun to Trash the WWF wrestlers, and was Stephanie's weapon against Jericho. Its all fun and games until your neck breaks... CRACK! out goes Rhyno... Then Rhyno Returns!!! and gets thrown into a cliche Odd couple tag team with Chris Benoit. Of course this Formula traditionally always has problems, as the the creative writers spent to much time dragging out their tag teaming and didn't settle things well. Rhyno and Benoit of course split off have their match and nothing is remembered of it. then Rhyno bounces around match to match here and there when they can't seem to find anything for him... Now he's on Raw.. and how sad is it, that Rhyno's Gore can't put down Kane, But Edge's Pussified Spear can? Gee thanks for screwing up another ECW Killer, Why don't you make him a commentator for Heat like you did to Tazz before he went Smackdown?
Tawren 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 then he comes to the WWF. Hooks up with Team ECK becoming team uh... ECKR? For the record, it was team WRECK. William (Regal) Rhyno Edge Christian Kurt (Angle).
Jebus 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Regal had nothing to do with team RECK (Team ECK added Rhyno after he debuted)
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Regal aboslutely was apart of Team WRECK.
Jebus 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Really?!?!? Could someone refresh my memory how he was in it. I don't recall anything with the 5 together. I honestly thought that team was just the KOTR 2001 foursome.
The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I still say they should've called themselves the WRECKing Crew.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 8, 2004 regal sided with RECK against foley quite often.
Papacita 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Regal was more McMahon's boy than he was E & C...at least from what I remember. I didn't have cable from October 2000 to June 2001, so I missed a bunch of Raws.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Really?!?!? Could someone refresh my memory how he was in it. I don't recall anything with the 5 together. It was usually William Edge Christian Kurt or Rhyno Edge Christian Kurt, but occasionally all five were together. don't think they were together though...more like an enemy of an enemy is a friend. William and Kurt were "Tight" for the beginning half of 01 as wel, which was the real WRECK heyday.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I wouldn't excatly say that Edge's spear kept Kane down, Kane pretty much sat up a few seconds after the spear. So its hard to argue that Rhyno's gore was made to look weaker than Edge's spear. If Edge had pinned Kane, Kane would have kicked out just like Kane kicked out of the gore. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Back to the topic, I'm a Rhyno fan and all, but it's hard to try and book a 5'9 man as a monster.

Which is what I think was the point of Kane facing Rhyno. Shows that a simple Spear won't keep Kane down for the three count and that Edge will need to use other means to win. Prediction: Edge will win with the Edgucator, the submission he used a couple of times during his feud with Kurt. It'd show that while Edge can't win with power, he can with MAT SKILLZ~! because, well, Kane doesn't have any of those.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Or he'll use his new PINK cast.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I think the point was that someone built like Edge should never, ever, ever have started using the spear as a finisher.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I think the point was that someone built like Edge should never, ever, ever have started using the spear as a finisher. Agreed. Never understood why he didn't stick with the Edgucution or the submission move. They make more sense. The spear is fine for a transition move though. Better than using the DDT all the time. Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Edge could always smack Kane with the cast 4 or 5 times and hit the downward spiral (his original finisher) to get a pin, but I doubt Kane is jobbing (by pin/submission) 2 PPVs in a row. I smell a NC or DQ finish.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Well, Edge did force Christian's hand. Why did it have to be "Edge and Christian"? Why couldn't it be "Christian and Edge" sometimes?

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Edge was always sort of the "big brother" type of guy - he was/is larger physically, in height especially, and was supposed to be the leader of the duo.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I looked it up. Edge is a month older.

Actually 90% of the time Fink did announce duties, he DID say "Christian & Edge".
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 8, 2004 I looked it up. Edge is a month older. You (the fans in general) would have thought that he was older than that - it would be hard to believe, especially back in the Edge & Christian days, that Christian was older than Edge anyway.
