Slayer 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 WEEK 16 Friday, Dec. 24 Green Bay at Minnesota, 3:00 A rare Friday game. Last one may have involved the Vikings. On XMas eve, no less Minnesota goes to Green Bay in November, so the Vikings don't get the early September advantage that they had last year

Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 15, 2004 Am I the only who thinks the NFC Champions got screwed here... ONE MNF game? I know Dallas and Green Bay are draws...but what is the excuse for St. Louis? Another sub-par team with NO stability at the QB postition and besides it's a EVEN year...they blow on even years. KingPK 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 FOX has the Superbowl this year? That should be a hoot. Who the hell is their A-broadcasting team? And shouldn't they switch the week 5 and week 15 MNF games? I would think the Pats' possible attempt at breaking Miami's record against Miami would be prime-time material. And by week 15, they'll have plenty of McNair injuries to talk about while Favre plays with broken thumbs, ribs, and hemorhhoids.

How does Dallas v Seattle make Monday night over Indy v Tennessee? -=Mike ...And, yes, the Panthers got the shaft --- but I don't expect them to be as good next year. MrRant 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 Because generally if you get into the playoffs you get to be on Monday Night Football. I think Seattle deserves to be on Monday Night more than Minnesota.

Tenn and Indy made the playoffs, too --- and BOTH are considerably better than Dallas and Seattle. -=Mike
MrRant 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 They have their own games on MNF. Seattle had the 6th rated offense in the NFL last season and they were better than their record showed as they got screwed twice. Most notably against the Ravens when even the league admitted the ref blew the call and cost Seattle the game.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2004 Dallas vs. Washington week 3 MNF: I am a diehard Skins fan and will be the first to admit that the Skins don't deserve a MNF game this year but I think the league recognized the Parcells/Gibbs draw and couldn't resist. As for the schedule. I am sooooooo going to the Skins@Niners.

Giants at Minnesota (2 years in a row) WEEK 9 Win 4-4 Chicago at N.Y. Giants WEEK 10 Win 5-4 Giants at Arizona WEEK 11 Win 6-4 Atlanta at N.Y. Giants (3 years in a row?!) WEEK 12 Win 7-4 Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants WEEK 13 Loss 7-5 N.Y. Giants at Washington WEEK 14 Loss 7-6 N.Y. Giants at Baltimore WEEK 15 Win 8-6 Pittsburgh at N.Y. Giants WEEK 16 Win 9-6 N.Y. Giants at Cincinnati WEEK 17 Win 10-6 Dallas at N.Y. Giants Figuring we split with each division opponent, we could get in the playoffs at 9-7 or 10-6 if everything goes right. (I hate when people use "we" for their teams also. I don't know why I do it, but I only do it for football and not baseball)
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted April 15, 2004 WEEK 1 (win...Carolina isn't going to be the same team that won the NFC Championship last season... 1-0) Green Bay at Carolina, 9:00 WEEK 2 (W 2-0) Chicago at Green Bay, 1:00 WEEK 3 (Our first loss... 2-1) Green Bay at Indianapolis WEEK 4 (W 3-1..Rebound at home) N.Y. Giants at Green Bay, 1:00 WEEK 5 (L 3-2 Our annual MNF embarassment) Tennessee at Green Bay, 9:00 WEEK 6 (L 3-3 The upset that begins the naysaying) Green Bay at Detroit, 1:00 WEEK 7 (W 4-3 Favre pulls one out when we need help) Dallas at Green Bay, 4:15 WEEK 8 (W 5-3...Skins are in rebuilding phase) Green Bay at Washington, 1:00 WEEK 9 (Nice to be one of the second to last teams to get a bye, especially when the remaining schedule has back to back away games to finish the season) Open date: Atlanta, Jacksonville, Green Bay, Tennessee WEEK 10 (W 6-3...TAKE THAT VIQUEENS!! Bout time they come play outside in the snow) Minnesota at Green Bay, 4:15 WEEK 11 (W 7-3...Barely though. Houston could be a sleeper team) Green Bay at Houston, 8:30 WEEK 12 (?????Who the hell knows. Hopefully, W, 8-3. St Louis is crap outdoors, especially in the frigid night air it'd be around this time. And I'm sure the Packers want some sweet revenge for St Louis beating em two years in a row) St. Louis at Green Bay, 9:00 WEEK 13 (L, 8-4. Philly bullies the Pack around again unless we have a vastly improved secondary this time.) Green Bay at Philadelphia WEEK 14 (W, 9-4) Detroit at Green Bay WEEK 15 (W, 10-4. Rarely do Florida teams come up North and win this late in the season. Especially bad ones.) Jacksonville at Green Bay, 1:00 WEEK 16 (L, 10-5. Minnesota gets revenge) Green Bay at Minnesota, 3:00 WEEK 17 (L, 10-6. This will happen due to the fact the Packers will come into the game overconfident in having won so much, and Chicago either fighting for their playoff lives or playing the spoiler role) Green Bay at Chicago Considering I've correctly picked the Pack's record last year (though totally against all the wrong teams...I did predict they'd go 10-6) and nine out of the past 11 Super Bowls, I'm betting on a happy 2004 for me since I turn 21 in August. 10-6 again should be good enough for the playoffs as long as they go on a mid-season streak and win the big games against St Louis, Carolina, and of course Minnesota.
