the show isn't quite done being posted yet, but thus far it is pretty good. I mostly wanted to start this so I could get out in front of the match criticism for once.

Clark. You wrote a very good match. Your leg psychology was markedly improved from the last match. However, there were two main problems with it that ultimately made me give the decision to Johnny. First and foremost (and touched upon by Kibs with slightly more venom last show), your prose in this match was a little too convoluted. I thought you did ok in the last match, but this one had me reading, re-reading, and re-re-reading lines, trying to figure out exactly what you were trying to say. Anytime a marker has to interrupt himself to go back on the initial reading, his perception of the match's flow suffers. Second and only slightly less important, while your psychology was sound your move sequences and selling were off kilter. You seemed to have the end at the beginning, the beginning in the middle, and the middle at the end. The most notable example I can think of is the cartwheel suicide moonsault as the second real move of the match. Not only did it seem to come out nowhere, but your popping back up immediately afterwards is a little optimistic. Your experimental style worked against you in this match I think, but I believe I can see where you're going with it and I think you're on the right track. That little out of kayfabe bit behind the curtains could help or hurt you, depending on the marker though buddy, so be careful.

Johnny. Your match won, but it had a few problems as well. The foremost I would cite is your unclear psychology. You (I assume) were trying to build to the tap out finish, but you took no care to emphasize moves or locations targeted. Sometimes that's ok. Benoit doesn't always work over the shoulder/neck, and Angle hardly ever works over the ankle. But in general you need some sort of gameplan for the match instead of just throwing moves in sequence. Since the finish was a crab, you can kind of cop out by saying that any slam or suplex tagets the back, but we know better. ;) All that said, your descriptions were clear and concise, your commentary was good, and your style while simple was solid. I never at any time had a problem following the flow, or imagining the action in my mind.

I am earning my paycheck.

Well, there isn't much I can do but give Johnny some congradulations at this point.

Am I disappointed? Yeah.

Is Landon gonna be pissed? Probably not...though I'd be scared to be Johnny at this moment.

Am I angry? Only at myself.

It seems that every time I get one piece of the puzzle working correctly, everything else goes to shit. I didn't see the thing at the beginning out of kayfabe, because that isn't what I was trying for. I was trying for something off-screen and out-of-view, but not so much out of kayfabe. If you read it as such then sorry, and I really need to stop doing that (as the last time I did that was in my first ever match, and I lost that too).

I'm going to spend a great deal of time tomorrow reworking my writing style, because I seemingly have yet to hit on anything that really works...because right now I do not deserve much of anything.

Show comments tomorrow unless my brain melts.

Get some self-esteem, retard!

In all seriousness, though, from what I can tell, you'll be improving leaps and bounds in no time once you've refined your style, so yeah... as you said, work on that, and get writing.

Congrats to those that one...especially Cortez (*cough*Zack*cough*) and MVS on your tag win.

Alan...don't sweat losing to Johnny. After all, he's been around longer than you and I probably put together. And he's good and stuff. Yadda, yadda...

Johnny, I'll be expecting a shot after the PPV some time. That's all I'll say. :P

Oh, and, yeah, I won with my edited match of doom...so it's all good.

Good show, guys. Tryst's promo kicked ass - but Maddix is gold, so he won. Great to see another comeback though.

DNS! NOOOOOOOOO!!!

Um.. (thinking what came next) - yeah, I'm looking forward to beating (sorry, SEEING) Said in the ring.

NEW US CHAMP!

NEW CRUISER CHAMP!

DACE WINS! (as if there was any doubt - this man's HARDCORE)

Erm... I win! I'm pretty sure Kibs no-showed thru illness though. Which sucks.

And..... MVS and Cortez are tag champs? Er... OK. Beginner's luck, I'm sure. Or half-beginner's luck? Or something.

Right, comment time (finally)

Tryst breaks out his usual madness in a huge ass opening promo. Someone is channeling HHH and comedy at the same time.

An opening match that flips the play book around around and has the heel with a body part being worked over. Had me thinking at times, how the hell is Maddix going to win this one? But he turned it around pretty well and didn't totally break all the work he'd be doing on the arm. A little tweaking on the damage done and the selling and it'd even better. It was a nice change and a very fast match.

Promo between Clark and Maddix. With have insults flying and a good old fashioned attack at the walk off. Does Maddix look like a rising star or what people?

DNS makes this shorter.

Really evil promo between Kibs and Zennon. It's almost like it's not completely kayfabe...geee.

Battle for the contract. It's good to see Card back in action. While I was rooting for Mexico to defent France, the ending was sweet and really fitting. They where trained by Card, so of course will back the most evil cheating sod.

Triple threat stats with the old two on one you'd expect, even though you know it'll break down and it does. Starts of pretty fast, but things are kept simple, no over the top confusing spots. Just like his tag partner, there's something about Todd that makes him read like a future star. Nice to see some good old hand stomping used as well. Finish a tad out of nowhere, but a nice using the heels against each other to get there. After match attack, and Clark makes the save to move the story on.

My shoddy ass hardcore match. Still, a few bits I was atleast happy with.

Also another fast paced number. Seems to be the standard for this show.

Onto the next title match. Johnny's ego shines through in parts, I thought it was wrestling, not a fashion show. And the cheap shot about Terrence in drag? Standard back and forth stuf. At the start, Johnny seems to make come backs straigh after being in close ish falls. And he kicks out, looking exhusted, but then makes a reversal and goes back on the attack. Maybe needing a little more work to set up the finish, but it was held on for a while and clamped up.

And here comes Toxxic to carry on his Orton impression. Opening up the arm work with the very first move, so clarely carrying over the arm work from the strap match. And Toxxic is working to avoid having the arm worked over again. Kibs isn't taking some of the obvious moves into arm work, but that could very well jut be Toxxic not know what they arm, and he has Kibs fight his way into attack the arm anyway. Toxxic trying for roll ups to but the tougher man away fast, something he's done before. Not to sure about going from a reversal to a pin rather than going after the arm, but heat of the moment and all that. Kibs is trying to strike Toxxic down rather than just going after the arm, but it is Kibs. Toxxic gets a win with a version of his finisher he can do one armed, good stuff.

Toxxic's running his mouth, trying to build a name for himself. Would you like to de-poll Mr. Orton?

Nasty little number between Danny and Duran. Huge shit kicking from both guys in another fast paced number. The running knee strike against the steps is just sick. Danny gets a win, by another roll up. He's beaten the champ and the contender, but only with roll ups and it's been hard fought against both of them.

Tag Team Title action. Boo-urns to the Mike and Zack. Damn you. And Tom goes all evil unhelping tag parnet. It's another fast paced fun little number. The champs dont lose though, and the poor Ann Onita finally goes down after being left high and dry, which makes sense and keeps up Aecas and Terrence and big tough mothers.

Very good show over all, good work people.

Kibs isn't taking some of the obvious moves into arm work, but that could very well just be Toxxic not know what they are

Uh-huh. That's the one. I'm not huge up on the whole technical wrestling aspect - that's why I'm a flippy-floppy cruiser. Besides, if I'd had Kibs go completely after the arm he'd have won...

Gee, Dace, it was nice that you couldn't find one positive thing to say about my match. Where's all this bitterness coming from?

I don't know where you see a fashion show at, and cheap shot... no, I just picked a random name. The back work is a plenty in that match for the finish, and I can't drag out a 5k match by having tons of delay going about if I want to fit more wrestling in. Real life reversals in matches happen just like the ones I did. Thanks.

i was only messing around, JD. it's just that every time he comes near ME and i have a belt...it seems to disappear. But every time i come around him and I do not have a belt, i seem to wind up with one.

not saying it'll always be that way, but it's an odd relationship we have there.

Don't suppose we could tone down the testosterone a touch? Yes, we're all very bad men, and all should fear us. Now stop slapping your dicks on the table, gentlemen. ;)
