Some Upset Over Johnny Ace's Promotion

Many against Johnny Ace...

Some WWE wrestlers are upset over Johnny Ace being promoted to Vice President of Talent Relations. Ace has upset a lot of people over the years and has built a reputation of being an "ass kisser" and a "yes man."

However, some do feel that Ace is good for the spot because he has a better grip on the available talent. He also is on better terms with TNA and indy wrestlers.

McMahon Behind Bradshaw Push

And Vince gets what he wants.....

Vince McMahon is the main man behind the push of Bradshaw. McMahon is said to be a big fan of Bradshaw's new character. As is the usual case, nobody in McMahon's inner circle has the guts to tell him anything other than what he wants to hear.

WWE Out Of Ideas For Mysterio

So much for his bright future...

Rey Mysterio has been complaining of dizziness recently and has been taken off the road while medical tests are performed.

Interestingly enough, Smackdown writer Dave Lagana recently told Mysterio that the writers have nothing in mind for Mysterio. They even told Rey to come up with his own ideas for his future and present them to the creative team. It was not long ago when most in WWE believed Mysterio would be getting a major push with the heavyweights.

Eugene Based On Real Person?

Is this WWE's own sick joke?

Slam! Wrestling reports that the Eugene character is based on a real "mentally challenged" boy who attends WWE events in the Northeast. The boy was apparently ridiculed by WWE employees behind his back.

Overnight WWE Smackdown Rating

Otherwise known as the rating nobody cares about for the show WWE doesn't care about...

WWE Smackdown did a very low 3.6 overnight rating last night. That is down from a 3.7 overnight rating last week and is one of the lowest overnight ratings for the show ever. The final number will be available later today.

Although I find it hard to believe that Eugene is based off of some guy the WWF worked with in the 80's, but to be honest if more evidence was found that proves this I wouldn't be surprised. I've long ago accepted the fact that while there are some truly nice guys in the wrestling business, most of them (particularly those who work with Mcmahon) are assholes. I think that for 2002 alone the creative team has a nice spot in hell waiting for them.

From all the reports about Vince Mcmahon, you get the feeling that not only is the guy basicly delusional but also that he's surrounded by spineless cowards. You're telling me not one person had the balls to tell Vince that giving a lowcard worker with limited talents a push straight to the main event wasn't such a good idea?

Given the way SD has been run lately, it figures they couldn't find something to do with one of their most marketable guys. It's like they want the show to fail.

yea they do the brand split because people like us wanted to see more wrestlers and more cruiserweights show their stuff. they cart off the cruiserweights to Smackdown as well as new wrestlers and it becomes more popular. Vince doesn't like that since he is too set in his ways, so he puts his shoulder into promoting Raw better, overshadowing Smackdown in storylines and activity. Too the point where Smackdown is just a show for indis. bleh

If this is true, then these people really do deserve to burn in hell.

I want for Rey and Kidman to team up again and go after the tag titles. I've always been a mark for them as a team. And they really need some teams in the tag title hunt.

How about London and Rey? The Kidman/London team is stuck on Velocity so it doesn't matter if they are broken up, and with Rey it won't matter if London has the personality of wet cardboard, because he's a great wrestler. Meanwhile, Kidman continues to deteriorate further as a worker, so have him remain a Velocity jobber.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking

- I can understand how Hennigan's naysayers are feeling, but if he can do the job well, then so be it.

- If noone's going to speak up, THEN PUSHES LIKE BRADSHAW'S IS WHAT WE WILL BE FUCKING STUCK WITH.

- I'd love to see Rey getting a heavyweight push, but the only believable way for him to be up there is to use his unique cruiserweight offence on the big guys, which wouldn't make him a bonafide heavyweight.

Keep the cruiserweight division as what it is, push Rey to the U.S. Championship division or the upper-card?

- I don't know what the go is regarding Nick Dinsmore's gimmick, but it might not have been his idea (might not have).

It would be rather ironic for WWE Superstars visit so many children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation and then for them to make fun of a mentally-handicapped child behind his back.

If it's true, well fuck them.

- Things aren't looking good for SmackDown! at all at the moment, are they? Well, who's fault is it?

- I can see this now..

*day dream sequence back to WCW days and the Filthy Animals stable..*

All they'd need to do is sign Konnan.

Eddy Guerrero, Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio Jr., Konnan, Torrie Wilson

Vince being behind Bradshaw's push shouldn't suprise anyone. It's just Million Dollar man with a Cowboy hat. Since that was based on Vince, and it worked so well. No suprise Vince goes back to the well one more time.

Honestly, if Vince just keeps going the way he's going and getting no feedback from those that disagree with him, he's going to run his company into the ground.

Do the ratings say nothing to him?

As is the usual case, nobody in McMahon's inner circle has the guts to tell him anything other than what he wants to hear.

And look what happens when people do speak up. Lesnar gone. Goldberg gone. Austin gone. Matt Hardy depushed. Heyman kicked off writing team and sent home. Dreamer kick off writing team and sent to OVW. Etc,.

Plus, when people do speak up they get heat from the lockerroom and the 'net for being "cry babies."

Exactly. But it does also depend on how they say it - there is a difference that we can sense between complaining and suggesting.

Huh? "We" can sense the difference between complaining and suggesting? From the third or fourth hand news stories we get? How?

Truer words were never spoken. We all claim that Vince is a fucking douchebag and wonder why no one stands up to him or thinks about their own self interests--and self promotion is how you succeed in the business--yet when they do, they're told to shut up and suck it up. Is it any wonder why so many workers hate the iwc?
