Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Paul Heyman's tutilage of the Dudley's sounds great. Probably the only thing that will make them interesting anymore. Hopefully Paul gets them to be ruthless again. And RVD joining Paul's stable would be sweet. He needs something to freshen him up. To show you how much the WWE cares about the tag division, look at this week: both tag team titles change hands to random wrestlers who aren't in the division. Bradshaw finally wrestles! Yay! Wait, why an I cheering?
humongous2002 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 So will RVD come to his senses and become the ECW RVD or will he still be the happy go lucky potheaded 80's WWF babyface?Or last night was another way of burying RVD on his way out of the WWE since he hasn't signed a new contract with them? Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Where are people getting the impression that Heyman is going to all of a sudden make the Dudleyz watchable? Sure, he'll cut some good promo's but unless he can cure them of their stale-as-fuck ringwork, I'm not gonna jump on the bandwagon.
Guest D'Lo White Report post Posted April 21, 2004 I'm just so tired of the Dudley's that a heel turn still seems stale and boring to me. I can't wait for next week when they attack Spike and put him through a table under Heyman's orders. That will be new.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 And now instead of Dudleyz vs 2Cool V.2 at Judgement Day we get Dudleyz vs Rico/Haas. Wowzers. That PPV is going to bomb like fuck.
deancoles 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 How long before Jackie turns on Rico? I say by June at the latest and we get Haas & Jackie vs. Rico at the Great American Bash.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Did anyone notice that the mark who wrote that report loved everything on the show, even the matches involving Stomboli, Gunn/Holly, etc. But when it came to Bradshaw, that was the one match that he slammed? Guest JMA Report post Posted April 21, 2004 So, is Torrie going to be screwing John Cena in the storylines now? Man, she sure moves fast from guy to guy. I predict the Rico/Haas team will eventually lead to a three-way involving Miss Jackie. As for the Bradshaw push, it would work much better if he was feuding with Cena over the US title. The fans don't view him as a threat to Eddie, yet. He needs to have wins on TV against lower-card guys.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 I think the Haas/Rico thing is pretty cool. It's not "tag champs who hate each other!" It's cocky, good-looking, arrogant wrestler wants the hot girl...that happens to manage/assist a weirdo... So he has to suck it up and work with him. Better than "Here's Charlie Haas, he used to be in TWGTT and now he's a single with no heat".
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Has there been any mention of Mysterio on Smackdown lately? I noticed he wasn't on the card and there was word out before that the creative team had nothing for him.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 I think the last sighting of Rey was on Velocity a few weeks ago, during the cruiser 4-way match. Which reminds me, didn't Nunzio get a shot at the cruiser title for picking up the win? And wasn't the reasoning behind that to mix more guys into the cruiser title scene? Instead, we have no Nunzio/Chavo match, and Los Chavos mixing it up w/ Cena the last couple weeks.
deancoles 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Nunzio will probably get the shot at Judgment Day.
Guest sean pyro Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Only reason Hass / Rico are a team now is because they need some 'comedy vignettes' on Smackdown. Booker / Goldust worked before, wouldn't be the WWE if they didn't rehash programs.
NYU 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 I'm disappointed by the lack of people falling off 20-foot platforms. It just doesn't feel like Smackdown. And I'd be disgusted if I paid money for a Smackdown ticket, and the Main Event was Eddie Guerrero vs. D-Von Dudley. Christ, talk about those people getting screwed..... And I'd be disgusted if I paid money for a Smackdown ticket, and the Main Event was Eddie Guerrero vs. D-Von Dudley. Christ, talk about those people getting screwed..... D-Von vs. Eddy and Big Show vs. Eddy make two weeks in a row the SD main event is about 100x better than what we're going to get at Judgment Day, and for a TV match I have no problem with it. In fact, I'll watch the main event, but screw the rest. So, is Torrie going to be screwing John Cena in the storylines now? Man, she sure moves fast from guy to guy. Gee, I never noticed that. I predict the Rico/Haas team will eventually lead to a three-way involving Miss Jackie. Next week: Rico/Haas successfully defend, breathe a sigh of relief, and bukkake Miss Jackie. Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Has there been any mention of Mysterio on Smackdown lately? SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2004 You know where it says: "Come here to discuss the latest Smackdown, or bitch about the latest Raw" on the TSM forums main page? Someone really needs to switch that.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2004 Booker T vs RVD wasn't much. -- The tag match gets ***** for Rico's hillariousness. And when Jackie slapped Haas on the ass, he looked disgusted as he thought it was Rico and then when he realized it was Jackie, he hugged her, and then Rico went in for a group hug and Charlie got shoved to the mat.. -- El Gran Luchador has his own titan tron, and even got an interview that they stuck into a little part of the corner of the screen as he was getting in the ring) and EGL spoke spanish although it seemed a bit off. When Bradshaw tried to let EGL pin him, Charles Robinson made one of the fastest two counts I've ever seen. -- Fifi is white again this week. Im guessing this will be some sort of running gimmick with Rene and his dog Fifi. Rene blames Torrie for Kurt getting hurt..."fifi isn't the only bitch (bleeped) in this ring" earns Rene a slap. Rene picks up Torrie and then drops her as Cena comes in to make the save and then tosses the Eiffel Tower out of the ring at him. -- In the 2 on 1 handicapped match, Chavo Sr. makes a save to keep Jr from getting Fu-ed and then Cena turns around and stares at him and Sr. looks around and does Cena's hand wave as if he can't see Cena. LOL har har. Dupree interference doesn't make any sense to me.. -- Another Mordecai video. This ones different. The catch phrase this time is "The Day of Judgement Draws Near" which pretty much seems like they are leading to him debuting at JD. -- Booker does his usual "Im bigger than Smackdown" routine and then goes for a Spinaroonie and gets a Gong and Smoke from the Undertaker and he hops the rail and runs away through the crowd. -- Backstage interview with Rico/Charlie/Jackie and Rico says Its one of the happiest days in his life and Charlie Haas is happy too, and then Jackie says it wasn't her. "You know Charles, I think this is going to be one fabulous relationship." - Rico -- The Dudleys are announced as "The Dudley" and Heyman is with them. Apparently "the Dudley" is D-Von. Countout is nulled by Heyman and it keeps going after a commercial. Match is surprisingly decent. D-Von wins with a roll up with Bubba holding down the leg from the outside. JBL runs in and powerbombs Eddy and then Eddy gets up and gets clotheslined. End of show All in all, a semi decent show.
Mearl267 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2004 Thoughts -The Dudley turn is cool, because it also introduced Heyman...and I love Paul Heyman. -RVD is such a huge face, and it sickens me that he gets beat down constantly...his work ethic is insane. -Rico and Haas...uh...yeah, go with it. -I likie Rene Dupree...he reminds me of like, 4 old school wrestlers in one (Mountie, Ludvig, Model, Quebeccer(s)) Plus, Cena is like, almost easily my favorite on the SD! roster...this feud will help them both nice. -I'm such a Taker mark, it's not funny. -I like the Dudleys, and Heyman. However, I do not like Bradshaw. I don't care what anyone says, he sucks in the ring, and is annoying overall. I've never liked the guy. This feud needs RVD, now.
