CanadianChick Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Please let that chair shot RVD took be the beginning of a heel turn. Oh! Fantasy Booking time! Next week, make Angle make the main event Dudleys/JBL vs. Rey/RVD/Eddie. Sometime during the show, RVD confronts Eddie about the chairshot and demands an explaination. Eddie tries to apologize, Rob's still pissed, and they get in a verbal arguement. Rey tries to calm things down, but Rob dismisses him, saying it could have easily been him hit by the chair. Eventually, things calm down, and the three are cool with each other. During the match (or after, whichever works better), RVD gets a chair and looks to hit one of the Dudleys with it, but hits Eddie instead. REy goes to help Eddie out, but Rob kills him with a chair shot too. Heyman and Dudleys are shocked, but of course, help Rob out. End the show with maybe Bradshaw beating on Eddie more, and Rob/Dudleys keep beating up Rey or posing. As for the PPV, have Dudleyz face Haas/Rico as a reward for their hard work, and Rey and Rob face each other in a spotastic match. Probably the only way to effectively turn Rob heel is for him to turn on Eddie and Rey, since they are as popular (or, in Eddie's case, moreso) as he is.
Guest Choken One Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Who in the hell is booking this show???? Has to be Gerwitz Not even Russo wrote shit this bad...He did Oklahoma as a joke...Im sure that Gerwitz thinks it's a GENIUS idea to give the title to Jackie.

Lagana - Staff Writer (2002-current)(The one who is booking the shows....supposedly a friend of Heyman when he was the head writer of Smackdown...) Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley - Director (2000-current)

Guest Choken One Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Why? Heyman isn't all that great either. The fucker can talk...he can't write or book.

DMann2003 Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 You know, I pretty much decided I was watching the Friends finale before... After reading this, I KNOW I will (Thank God it's RAW & a RAW PPV coming to my area next month)
Lil' Bitch Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I would rather have Miss Jackie have won the title than Jacqueline if I had no choice.
Guest JMA Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Ugh. Just horrible. Well, at least now I don't have to watch. Thank God for Smackdown! spoilers.
Guest croweater Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Pathetic. This is truely the worst show I have ever read. The booking is pathetic. I don't believe for a second that there is 1 person on this board who couldn't have booked a better show.
AndrewTS Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 "Dudley Boyz vs. Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio The Dudleys come out to a mixed reaction, which turns into a lot of heat as the match goes on. Van Dam comes out to a great pop. His partner is a returning Rey Mysterio, who receives as loud a pop as RVD. The match lasts a good 15 minutes, with Mysterio hitting the 619 toward the end. The match ends as RVD performs his rolling thunder move on Bubba the same time that Mysterio hits a top-rope move. Winners: Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio" So, last 20 minutes or so might be worth seeing....
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 They probably didn't put much effort into the show because they know that everybody will be so busy with "Friends" that they won't even bother with SD. BTW, what's the lowest rating SD has gotten ? I say it'll hit a new low tomorrow night.
AndrewTS Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 They probably didn't put much effort into the show because they know that everybody will be so busy with "Friends" that they won't even bother with SD. That show is still on the air? Ugh. I honestly don't know of any one who watches much WWE that likes that shitty show (Friends, not SD). That doesn't explain the shitty SDs we've got since WM, though. BTW, what's the lowest rating SD has gotten ? I say it'll hit a new low tomorrow night. On holidays and nights where it was pre-empted in some major markets, I think the lowest I've seen was 2.7.
humongous2002 Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 As far as i know the last match will be worth watching but the Hour and a half before that will be me watching Friends or anything else that's on tv, including infomercials.
Guest M. Harry Smilac Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I would rather watch these two iron man matches consecutively then watch smackdown Lita Vs. Gail Kim Bob Holly Vs. John Heidenreich Wait I shouldn't be giving them any ideas
Guest Museite Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Just as well I'm gigging on Saturday when it's shown here, Sounds like last week's velocity was better than this Smackdown
Quit Calling My Mama Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I think it's a testament to Stephanie's writing ability that she can make Raw really good for 1 hour a week, and it only comes at the expense of the other hour, all of Smackdown, all of Heat and all of the other shows.
