BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 Kanyon is available to work next week's ppv. Here is hoping TNA brings him in.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 Will they do so? I think not. I think they'll sign Kanyon on around the time for the new show on FSN, so that there is a surprise and a reason for people to tune in. Like "Who Could Be This Former WCWer Want With Jeff Jarrett? You Can Only Find Out This June 4th On FSN!" Something like that.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 I hope he comes back as Mortis, of course WWE didn't want to utilize that gimmick.
BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 Well they could bring in Bischoff for that(if he doesn't resign with WWE) or some of the WCW guys that will undoubtedly be released in June when their 3 year deals come up. I think O'haire will be available in June.
BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 He can't use Mortis. WWE owns it.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 I don't see why Kanyon would need Mortis anyway. I say let Kanyon be Kanyon, that's what he is best at.
BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 Yeah he doesn't really need to go back to Mortis now. He is known more as Kanyon anyway, plus he can't cut promos as Mortis.

Nothing against Kanyon or anything, I think hes great, but I dont think hes a big enough name to get the casual wrestling fan to stop and say "Hes gonna be there!?! Damn I cant miss it!" I would think if they were gonna pull out that old trick that they would probally get Savage, or Nash.
thuganomics 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 Hopefully, they build up to Kanyon's debut, rather than bring him in as a hey, look it's Kanyon. I'd like to see him become a major player in TNA.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2004 If they're sticking with having Harris in singles these days, see if they can't work out a deal to have DDP and Kanyon come in as a team again. It would help DDP shake of the rust (and he wouldn't be working as hard as he would in singles, thus decreasing the chance of re-injury) and allow for a major team to shake up the tag division (which is the division that sorely needs it right now). Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 6, 2004 Holy crap, it's already been 90 days? Time flies when...I got nothing. I'd like to see Kanyon a few times. If he's still decent enough, I won't mind him being a full-time character.
Guest Donners Report post Posted May 7, 2004 Ernest Miller is also available next week. :tumbleweed:
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 7, 2004 Ernest Miller is also available next week. :tumbleweed: Don't even JOKE ABOUT THAT! KNowing TNA, they'll bring in ANYONE they can! (Anyone Remember Nelson "Mabel" Knight, or Jamal?)
Guest Donners Report post Posted May 8, 2004 Don't forget The Blue Meanie! Actually, I didn't mind seeing Jamal. He looked a lot better than he ever did in WWE. Miller can be entertaining, and isn't too awful in the ring.
