KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 Dammit, do we have to play the Indians again this week? I'm debating wether or not to take in a Mean Girls, Still We Believe: The Boston Red Sox Movie (yes, they made a movie about last season) double feature on Friday. I'll probably leave before the end of Game 7 though. I'm not a masochist (ok ok, I watched That Game 6 on ESPN Classic recently).

Bored 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 If we can't beat the walking wounded this week, we may have some serious problems. Yup a lot of harm those injuries have done, only have the best record in baseball. Yankees will humiliate their fans if they can't beat them.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 Manny Ramirez is going to miss tonight's game because he's getting his US citizenship. And I heard that Johnny Damon made a deal with Gillette so that he would shave his beard, but keep the hair. So we're going from Jesus playing CF to the Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer? Talk about de-evolution.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 How long have Anderson and Salmon been out? Both have been on the DL for a couple of weeks.

Cartman 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2004 Manny went to school here since 13...but never became an official Citizen. Good for him, it's only one game Oh and I don't want to see anyone kissing B.H. Kim's ass anymore. Terrible.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2004 It's only one game, and he's the 5th starter. I'm not calling for his head on a pike just yet. Besides, who's kissing his ass?

I was one of those, and I stand by my analysis, with the caveat that I do not know the effects of his injuries. Personally, I'd send Derek Lowe to the bullpen before I sent Kim. Yeah, that stupid Theo. Giving contracts to guys with good stats. Doesn't he understand the Red Sox losing tradition??
sfaJack 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2004 Did I just see that Raul Mondesi is going to sit out the rest of the season for "personal reasons?" Anyone know if this might be related to his legal dispute earlier, or is it the fact that he's unhappy because he plays for the Pirates?
