Nevermortal Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 I predict I'm going to save $35. One of the wisest predictions yet.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 I predict I'm going to save $35. I think that you should order it just to compare it to the next PPV to see how horrendous it is. And hey, you'll actually have a game of 'Piggy in the Middle' happening, because there'll be a PPV after the PPV that is Judgment Day that will probably be of the same quality as it - so you can feel less sympathy because it will seem as if a good PPV is being physically crushed by shitty ones. I'm talking shit, that's what I'm talking right now. I'm just saying, order the next few shows for comparison's sake. It really will be quite shocking.
Guest Edgehead Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 The only good thing I can say about this PPV is that I will get it for free over in Britain. All I hope is that there will be a shock appearance by someone. That is the the only way this show can be saved.

ARE YOU FUCKING HIGH? some fucking people don't have $35 to throw away on a shitty 2.5 hour show, and shouldn't have to order three horrible PPV's in a row just to discuss it with a bunch of internet geeks like you who have nothing better to do than act like you work for the WWE, when you don't and have no knowledge of "the business". Discussing a wrestler? Fine. Acting like you're an insider with all this knowledge isn't. Damn it, I never thought I'd see the day when I would become an Anti-Smark. Edit: I'll expect this post to be deleted because I don't feel like working around the stupidity of a 14 year old.
JoeDirt Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 Is ANYONE here actually going to watch JD tonight? Is anyone excited about the show?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 I've trying to convince myself for weeks to order the show. No go. I mean, c'mon, the PPV has been having TWO MONTHS OF HYPE since WM XX? Right? Wrong. The main event has been hyped decently. As has Dupree Vs. Cena. Sadly, they're not deserving of $35. The rest is house show/Smackdown! TV matches we'll see rematches of on Thursday. Fuck Thunder.

I definitely agree with you about the money and the quality of the show, but all my goal in that post was to point out how much better Raw is at the moment, resulting in a better PPV. Yeah, I've got the show ordered... I'm watching The Never-Ending Story on cable to pass the time. Even with it's low-budget and school library videoesque feel, I'd probably rather keep watching that anyway. MO1M, chill out - I can completely respect anyone that does not want to spend $35.00 on this year's Judgment Day. I'd almost endorse it.
clean rob Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 Predictions... out of force of habit alone... Eddie Guerrero vs. John Bradshaw Layfield. Four weeks ago, I would have said no contest, but if Jackie can beat Chavo who knows. Still, I'll go with Eddie. Smackdown needs Big Show back so bad. Charlie Haas & Rico, w/ Miss Jackie vs. Hardcore Holly & Billy Gunn. Haas & Rico win in the same fashion as always. John Cena vs. Rene Dupree Dupree. Why not? Jacqueline vs. Chavo Guerrero This match will only be any worth at all if Chavo gives Jackie a seriously vicious beating. This won't happen and Jackie will escape with the title to annoy me further. Next week she squashes London. The Undertaker, with Paul Bearer vs. Booker T Dodgy finish, maybe Booker wins by DQ. The Dudley Boyz vs. Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio. RVD & Rey. They need to elevate these two fast, and turn RVD. Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie. Torrie. Mordecai vs Scotty 2 Hotty (apparently) Mordecai.
Guest sanyo Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 I bet anyone watching it here tonight is stealing it on cable cause nobody would be pay $35 for it- I bet HHH is not even watching it and he has the day off. Probably fucking Stephanie
haVoc Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 I bet anyone watching it here tonight is stealing it on cable cause nobody would be pay $35 for it- I went to my uncles and gave him $15 towards the bill. The PPV was better then I thought so the $15 was worth it. Plus, I ate his food and drank his beer.

I don't know if it was better than I thought it'd be - it just filled out. And what happened to sanyo?
PLAGIARISM! Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Smackdown needs Big Show back so bad. Yes. At first I just started saying that as a joke, but you don't miss some things till they're gone. Promo skills, selling, facial expressions, heat....
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 I was really off I think with predictions. I only got half right, unless I read results wrong. Off topic, but I'm guessing Sanyo's annoying whoring in every topic is what got him banned.
Guest Dazed Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Off topic, but I'm guessing Sanyo's annoying whoring in every topic is what got him banned. He was flaming and being a jerk in the Judgment Day thread. Loss pulled the plug this morning.
