I haven't had the chance to read the show yet, but I wanted to comment on the matches I marked. First Janus v. Crowe...

 

I liked both your matches. My main complaint was something that actually occurred in both your matches, so it didn't factor too much into the decision. I know you guys have a lot of history, but I think each of you took the Hardcore thing a little far for "free tv." You busted out big big stuff that shouldn't be thrown around like pez (in my humble opinion). I mean thumbtacks and glass tables aren't free, you know. That said, you used some good hardcore psychology and some creative spots. My particular favorite was Crowe's use of salt (even though I must admit I didn't care for the stitches spot as it wouldn't translate well to a live crowd). I enjoyed both matches greatly, so good job guys!

 

And now Ace vs. Dustin. First of all let me say that I was THRILLED with both of these matches. Muzz seems to have very little rust and Dustin wrote a bang up solid match. I greatly enjoyed each as there were some creative spots and stellar atmosphere and descriptions. In the end it came down to nickles and dimes and I think Muzz's superior experience just showed through in his move exchanges and commentary.

Besides that...swank main event to cap off a pleasantly surprising show. Kudos to all who won and all who wrote.

Mmm... about going over-the-top with the hardcore element, I can see what you mean and I think you're right... but I knew Janus was gonna bust out some CRAZY shit and felt that I was obligated to do so as well. If only to keep the playing field at an even level. I'm very glad to hear you liked the salt spot, funnily enough, it was a on the spot inclusion to the match. Glad I threw it in.

I skimmed through everything, but I'll read it over the weekend. Congrats to Everyone who won, and to Landon. I just finished reading your match, and it ripped mine apart. Next time though, I'M GOING TO BRING YOU DOWN~! Or maybe not. I don't know. I'm a jobber. But really great match.
