There isn't any one single job I'd want to do for the rest of my life like that. If I had to do a job for a prolonged period of time, it'd either be as a circus ringmaster/ very successful sideshow owner, or a musician despised by the general populous, but with a cult following. Not necessarily metal, either. I'd like to be a professional boxer, the guy who invents new poison, a moonshine bootlegger (There's sick money in it, and hardly anyone gets busted for it anymore), a creative breaking Karate champion, and mayor of a small town. Basically anything involving performance and self defense and chemicals.

I would not want to be a pro wrestler, an author, an actor, or an executive producer. I also have some contempt for anyone who just sits in an office chair all day, even if they make more money than me. If you don't at least break a sweat once, you're not working. Wrestlers and actors sweat, but they're inherently phony.

Wow - you have some interesting tastes.

I see what you mean about wrestlers and actors being "phony", but we need entertainment in this world.

And I also see what you mean about not working if you don't break a sweat once. A proper sweat, not running to lunch.

Sitting in an office chair all day is not "working" as the word is often interpreted, but it is still helping people. Manual labour is great, but it can't accomplish everything.

like the sound of that gambling job Jimbo!

for me anything to do with wrestling, from running a fed to being a writer

then comes the other ambition, jobs that requie no effort

like driving one of them cars around all day with the advertising trailers on the back, with the billboards on them, seems like a dream job to me, just drive and that it

also wouldnt mind driving the escorts around

damn, where are all of these driving jobs coming from, im not even a remotley good driver, ha

the main job i want is to work in a book shop, seems like a pretty good job, serve the customers, order the books, put the books on the shelves

That was just my Holden Caulfield side. I don't watch enough wrestling, tv, or movies to really bitch about any of it. I can't express myself visually at all, so most of that sort of thing is just "there" to me. I read quite a bit, I just wouldn't want to be an author.

My distaste for sitting still all day is partially fueled by the white collar and intellectual elite's contempt for people with crappy jobs. I don't mind working hard, it's just the pay that sucks. That's why I picked things where I can either move around a lot (by necessity in most cases) or jobs where I have to actually physically make or manipulate something, yet still cash in. A lot of my ambitions are going to be based on pure luck, but probability works weirdly with me..

If I was to run a store, I'd like to run a store aimed at smart marks - selling DVDs, CDs, comic books, other literature, etc.

Sure, the business would suck, but it'd still be nice...
