Spaceman Spiff Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Benoit, although I was *really* tempted to go "other: PALUMBO~!" since he actually made it on camera. And what's wrong w/ Conway? He's the talented Le Res member.
Guest Choken One Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Conway just isn't an key member of the roster like the rest of the list is.
Spaceman Spiff Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Doesn't mean he should be disparaged in the thread sub-title. For shame, CM Funk. For shame.
spiny norman Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 1. Chris Benoit 2. Shawn Michaels 3. Randy Orton (HA!) 4. Triple H 5. Batista (like him or not, he's really improving and is the best "monster" guy they have right now) 6. Flair (as a tag team wrestler only, single shows how washed up he is right now) 7. Shelton Benjamin 8. Edge 9. Jericho 10. Christian Those last four are in it though they haven't done much ****+ recently, but they have the potential, so I'll give them that.

CanadianChick Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 I personally like the skunk look.... Anyways, Benoit. He's been a great champion.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 I voted Benoit. While Eugene, Benjamin, Jericho and Michaels were competition, Benoit's busted his ass big-time since he came to Raw, and is a great Champion. As CC said. But I disagree about the skunk look. Conway's nowhere near as bad as Grenier, but that look... It's... er... stupid. Who is he, Pepe Le Pew crossed with Crash Holly?

I just think that before WM though and his feud with Christian he wasn't feeling it, whereas I really like Batista and Flair as a tag team and think they are both really benefiting from being in that stable. EDIT: After being here for over three years, I wasted my 1000th post (well, it's probably more like 1600th, but whatever) on that. I had this massive celebration planned for myself, and look what came about instead. Damn you Rrrsh!!!
Lil' Bitch Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 *marks out for the "Iron Man" I voted for Benoit of course.

I think the Cage match blowoff and their quite underrated WM match more than makes up for the length and sheer bordom of the fued. And I am still wiating for Batista to get a moveset.
Guest Loss Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Jericho deserves major credit for making so much progress since the last babyface run he had. Every match is seeing him unload new offense, he has so much more confidence and dare I say that at this moment, he's more over than he's ever been. Jericho is the workhorse of RAW. Benoit is awesome and I'm thrilled that he's finally getting his due, but more than anyone on the roster, Jericho is making an effort to try something new every time out.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 It's great that everyone here is so high on Benoit. I found it a little surprising due to Jericho's low ranking, but I guess a lot would go Benoit over Jericho. Benoit over Jericho... Benoit/Jericho... Hmmm...
Guest Dids Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 The answer is Eugene. I like Beniot- but Eugene is the reason I watch RAW right now.
Guest Rrrsh Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 Flair 1984 called, they want their opinion back.
Kahran Ramsus Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 There are two wrestlers I really go out of my way to see whenever they are on. Benoit and Eugene. I could see voting for Regal too since he has done a ton to get Eugene over.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 Sorry, but had to go with Kane. He's still one of my favorite wrestlers. If not for him, I'm torn between Benoit & Eugene.
CanadianChick Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 Flair 1984 called, they want their opinion back. 1997 called. They want their opinion back. Shawn's over the hill, brotha.

Krankor Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I love it Edge has no votes, just the way it should be
Use Your Illusion Posted June 5, 2004 Report Posted June 5, 2004 Flair 1984 called, they want their opinion back. 1997 called. They want their opinion back. Shawn's over the hill, brotha. 2004 called....they want this joke to end. Do you ever wonder why no one likes you? I'm sure it kills him that a bunch of total strangers on a message board don't think very highly of him. And any Conway hate is unwarranted. Conway is the man, he deserves much more love. While I'm glad Dupree got out of the La Rez scene and is getting his solo push, I'd really like to see Conway recieve the same sort of treatment. Both guys are the future. As for the poll: Shawn owns RAW. UYI
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 For some odd reason, I'm going to say Kane simply because his character has done quite a bit in the last month or so. From stalking Lita for sex, to winning the #1 contender slot, to pinning Benoit tonight on Raw, he has done quite a bit in the last month. Benjamin has also had a great run with his matches with Evolution and such. Just my two cents...
Open the Muggy Gate Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Gotta go with Eugene. I tune in to RAW now just to see what he will do. So do my friends. He's got my attention to say the least.
Krankor Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 I'm wondering why A-Train isn't an option in this poll. He is a dominant athlete. He absolutely tore Jericho apart this past week.
