dubq 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2004 I was watching YTV [last week, I think] and they mentioned something about the two-part series finale of Justice League. Then, I was reading a sci-fi magazine [can't remember which] that had an article about the show being transformed into 'Justice League Unlimited' and implied that there would be the addition of new members [supergirl, Zatana, Etrigan, etc] beyond the core seven. Anyone have any info on this?
Guest JMA Report post Posted May 26, 2004 It's basically just a name change. You can find out everything here.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2004 Etrigan? Wow. The heirs of Batman: The Animated Series certainly are getting inclusive in their old age. Who shows up next, John Constantine and the Endless?
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 Etrigan actually had an episode based around him when the Batman cartoon relaunched on the WB back in 1997. And he's already been on Justice League once. I'm looking forward to seeing who will voice the Green Arrow.

That would be cool. Although I'd imagine that they would have to cover up Despair...
razazteca 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 I'm surprised teh Teen Titans don't do a crossover for an one hour special.
Ted the Poster 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 I don't think if a Titans-JL crossover would work if they animate the League in Titans' "insert anime-like sequence here" style, but the other way around could be cool. The three-part episode "Starcrossed" is airing Saturday evening as a whole movie on Toonami, in case anybody didn't know.

Scroby 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 Actually the people who make Teen Titans also make Justice League as far as I know and they want to keep Teen Titans away from J.L. and espically Batman. They want the TT to just focus on the team no one else.

Ted the Poster 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 "insert anime animation here" Stop being redundant...anime is animation There, I changed it so you can understand now. Ass. Yeah, the Static Shock episodes were crappy, but I liked the ep with only Green Lantern.
tbondrage99 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2004 They talk about it a little in Toyfare #82. It basically is just a name change. They said there would be at least 8 more people to be highlighted more which are Etrigan, Zatanna, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Supergirl, Dr. Fate, Captain Atom, & Orion. Out of the 8 the only 2 who have never had the DC style animation are Green Arrow & Captain Atom.
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Starcrossed was pretty awesome, probably one of the best JL episodes/storylines ever. They also showed a preview for Justice League Unlimited during the credits, which I can't wait for.
Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted May 30, 2004 What happened in the first part? I missed it. (Although I'm pretty sure HG's a traitor of some sort).
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2004 Part one: Batman had the League in DC because his sources had informed him of a forthcoming terrorist plot at some meeting he had Clark Kent covering from the inside, because Batman is smarter than everyone on the show put together. Then a big alien ship came and started shooting everyone. The big alien ship was shot by a big Thanagarian(I think that's what the Hawkpeople are called) ray gun. The big alien ship was Gordarian, an alien race that just happens to be the arch enemy of Thangaria. They Hawkpeople offer to help. Everyone trusts them. Except Batman. Since Batman is smarter than everyone on the show put together, he's right. An autopsy he conducts proves that the aliens on board the big ship was frozen. Already dead. Why other scientists didn't notice this is never explained, as Earth decides to let the Hawks build a forcefield. Batman sneaks into one of their bases as the rest of the League helps build the "forcefield". He gets captured, and, as a result, the rest of the League does too. The Hawkpeople take over the Watchtower, and Hawkgirl bitchslaps the Green Lantern with her mace. Now, I wasn't knocking the show, by the by. I loved it. But I'll love anything with Alfred and the Batcave. Except Batman and Robin.
