Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 And how sad is it that SmackDown! PPVs are now featuring squash matches (or will be) involving Mordecai, Mark Jindrak and Mark Jindrak? Squashes on pay per view suck anyway, but you couldn't have picked three worse guys. MARK JINDRAK HAS A CLONE!? GOD HELP US ALL~!
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 ........... I meant to say Mark Jindrak.

Oh, what horrible things has science done against the will of nature!! After seing the card, I'm still not buying the PPV card. The three Diva matches intrigue me, but I have a feeling they'll f*ck it up by putting in Rico or haveing Mae Young show up.
Guest Cheech Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Bull rope match? You know, I thought the idea of gimmick matches was to make people want to see them.
AlaskanHero 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Well they will definitely job him. No way would Rey beat Jindrak or Kenzo. They're both the future of the company. Rey is small. Who do YOU think will win? ......... This makes me really want to beat some sense into Vince. We should form an army and storm Titan Tower and riot until we get what we want or get gunned down in the blaze of glory, whichever happens first.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Well, it shouldn't surprise you, since they've treated Rey as nothing more than a JTTS ever since they brought him in.
Slickster 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Actually, NorfolkScope.com says this about the Divas (you scroll down on the page to see it:: -DIVAS BEACH COMPETITION- 1. Dawn and Sable vs. Torrie and Miss Jackie (sub for Sable would be Jacqueline) (the Divas would get on top of each other’s shoulders and wrestle each other down into the ocean (a game of “chicken” fighting); the first Diva to fall off of the top of the other’s shoulders loses) 2. Beach Volleyball Match 3. Sand Box Match – Dawn vs. Sable vs. Torrie vs. Miss Jackie -Fatal 4 Way in the sand
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Let's see.....this card looks a BIT better than Judgment Day, but I'm still not ordering anything where the headliner is BRADSHAW vs. anyone. So Bad Blood gets my $35 in June.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Cena / Booker might be good. RVD / Dupree sounds interesting. I have no idea what the fuck a Bull rope match is, but Rico-Charlie / Chavos was a terrific match at my last house show.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Bull-rope match is a fancy name for a Strap Match last I checked. Of course, knowing WWE, they will goof around and make it a first person to hog tie his opponent wins.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 The APA Barroom Brawl was great for comedy and pure entertainment, but I'm not sure I'd want to see it again or on a card that doesn't have good wrestling around it to keep me interested, like Vengeance 2003 did. Internet Warfare 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Looks just as bad as JD. I dont see anything that can be entertaining besides maybe Rico/Haas vs Chavos.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 So, Torrie and Sable will go from inexplicably becoming buddies to inexplicably becoming enemies. Awesome. I love this storyline detail and these intelligence challenges.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted May 30, 2004 So, Torrie and Sable will go from inexplicably becoming buddies to inexplicably becoming enemies. Awesome. I love this storyline detail and these intelligence challenges. That and them being given a 2-out-of-3 Falls match. Hey Choken, it looks like this is your gimmick PPV. Anyway... Eddy/JBD - The rematch is inevitable and I can live with it. The stipulations sounds like it will suck too. Undertaker/Dudley Boyz - Tell me what meaningful development this makes and why the match should happen. Cena/Book - Could be decent, but I'm not looking for anything too great. RVD/Dupree - Ditto. And since when is Van Dam WWE's resident blind patriot? Rey Misterio/Jindrak - Um... Meaningless match, Mysterio was being pushed, Jindrak was being pushed - guess who'll come out on top in this company... Rico & Haas/Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Sr. - I'm liking Chavo and Chavo as a tag team, and this match could deliver. Probably about the only thing on the damn card that makes sense. And does this mean we'll soon have a new Cruiserweight Champion...? Kenzo Sukuki's debut - Will it just be another PPV debut squash? That Diva thing - Waste and negation a gimmick, waste of my time, waste of PPV time, plotholes, no reason, complete bullshit.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 I truly believe WWE wants to set a new all-time low buyout rate.
Guest J0bber Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Considering the bulid they're giving him, shouldn't Mordecai at least have a match on this card?
clean rob 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 He'll probably have a cruiserweight squash and/or interfere in Taker's match to get the ball rolling on their apparent soon-to-be feud.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 Undertaker/Dudley Boyz - Tell me what meaningful development this makes and why the match should happen. Dudleys want to make an impact, what better way to make an impact than to go after the nearly unstoppable Undertaker? The angle makes sense, the problem is the ending may not make a damn bit of sense since I doubt the Dudleys win the match or even come close to winning the match. Hell, Undertaker will probably kick out of 3D. And if he does, the WWE needs to burn in hell.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 I know Im not going to go to the PPV now, I just found out that tickets went on sale yesterday for a RAW house show right where I live on the 27th (same day) at 2 pm. $20 for a ticket and a 5 minute drive beats $100 and a 4 hour drive. Oh, and according to WWe.com, they are offering the GAB PPV free to people in the military.
Adam 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2004 OK: 1. I think either a First Blood match, or a Texas Death Match would have been MUCH better stipulations than a Texas Bullrope Match. 2. I think the 2/3 Divas crap will be even worse than the Redneck Triathlon. 3. Just retire the Cruiserweight title. Now.
Guest Deviant Report post Posted May 31, 2004 This card sounds completely fake to me. Apart from Eddie-JBL, Book-Cena and Dudleys-Taker, nothing has been even remotely hinted at on TV. Now, I'm not expecting WWE to give me actual build-up, but there has to be something in between Velocity and a PPV match with Rey for Jindrak. Also, am I to understand that Eddie vs JBL won't be a Last Man Standing match? LMS makes perfect sense, and a bullrope takes Bradshaw back to 1996... I was also betting on Chavo vs Classic, or are we holding off on that one to build it up more, what with it being a guaranteed ****+ match and all? As for the divas stuff, it sounds like some rumour monkey got their WCW PPVs confused. They're using Great American Bash, not Bash at the Beach.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2004 This looks much better than Judgment Day on paper, but still not good enough for me to order. I will admit that I am interested in the US Title and Tag Title matches.

David Blazenwing 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2004 They wouldn't squash Rey would they? Because if they do squash Rey, I swear I'll go Rundown on their asses.... *cocks shotgun* Option A: You all push Rey Mysterio. Option B: You try to push JBL again, I kill you all and push Rey Mysterio myself.

Guest Astro Report post Posted May 31, 2004 A Bullrope match is a match where the 2 participants are tied together with a rope, and a cowbell is attached to the middle. If you get the bell, you get to use it. The Brama Bull-rope match was just a Rock named Indian Strap match I think Eddy/Bradshaw in a Shark cage match needs to blow this fued off.
