The (not so) Smart Marks ~!

 

Ok, first things first, at TSM forums I was Hunger4Unger. Not that I'm asking anyone to care about my whinging here, but as this is my column I'm going ahead. I was banned for suggesting that there might have been a cover up surrounding Nick Berg's death (that American who was allegedly beheaded by Al Queda). I wasn't flaming, I wasn't using bad language, I put across my reasons for questioning whether Al Queda was behind the killing or not yet I found myself banned as my sometimes liberal (read: "he don't praise Bush, get him outta here!") posts were too much for the right wingers that seem to moderate the boards. I emailed the owner of the forums, The Dames, explained the situation but have yet to receive a response. It's a real bummer for me as I actually really like TSM, have visited there for a few years now and had held my forum account for over two and a half years. I'm also going to go as far as to say that TSM wouldn't be nowhere near as popular as it is today without my help. I can't reveal what I have done exactly but let's say that certain things that I did helped push TSM over the edge into greater heights of popularity. Oh yeah, I used to plug the hell out of Brandon Truitt's shoot interview recaps there as well.

 

To close

 

To close, long time readers might remember that when this column was in it's height of popularity, before the invasion of Iraq, I was against the war. I caused quite a stir. I still am oppposed to the war. Sure, this is a column on a wrestling website but at the same time it is MY column. What a mess we are in now eh? Almost 1,000 coaltion troops DEAD. 16,000 Iraqi CIVILIANS (not "terrorists" or a part of Saddam's Iraqi defence, Civilians means women and children), massive civilian unrest in Iraq, no sign of any WMD (what a joke that was!), we've introduced terrorism into Iraq as now terrorist cells have an easy place to target US personnel and facilities, appointed a puppet prime minister to lead Iraq much to the disgust of the Iraqi people (he has no credibility, he wasn't voted in either) AND managed to kill and torture suspected Iraqi crminals to boot! For what? The oil money! Some words of warning: If Bush stays in November it's Syria next and you, yes YOU will be drafted to go fight.

Both, but the part that got him banned was the latter. BTW, everything he said in that "article" (and I use that term EXTREMELY loosely) was refuted by yours truley, particularly the NBCR/WMD shpiel, right here. Interestingly enough his "about 1000 figure" was orginally "thousands" before I, patiently, pointed him to the ACTUAL casulaty figures. What a fucking joke.

Smart Marks Forums - gone to hell

 

I was recently banned from the above forums for holding views that don't equate with mainstream America. I questioned the war in Iraq, GW Bush and whether Berg was beheaded by US agents as a plan to distract people from the torture by troops. I was a member there since Feb 2002 and never once flamed any person. Be warned, any views that the moderators there don't agree with and you'll be banned.

 

If its any conciliation, it seems his forums are about as popular as he was around here.

I think he fails to mention that the Liberals and Conservatives came together to tell off this douchebag. He also forgets to mention his semi-banning over admitting he had plotted to try and kill the President. I hardly call that a Liberal viewpoint.
