Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I'm partial to spinning. I do enjoy 20 inch spinners, but they tend to slow down my bike. My bike is made by Maybach (via Huffy), it fears nothing.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 In Highschool I had this friend who horded Pez and Pez dispensers because he truly felt that it would be the international currency of the future. Needless to say I stopped being friends with him because he always tried mooching present day money off of me with promises of pez in the future. that's all I have to contribute to this thread.
alfdogg Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 That sounds like a good plan, actually. I should try it.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 In the World of Next Tuesday, Football Refs will be on Cycles.
Spaceman Spiff Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 ...to join a curling league. You forgot that part. There's nothing more satisfying than getting your rocks closest to the "T" in the house.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I'm just so full of piss and rage and ire lately. Maybe it's cuz my girlfriend dumped me, or that so many people here have been ripping me off to the point where I'm losing what makes me me. Me on internetland, that is. I'm not some loser nerd lol.
Spaceman Spiff Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Mandy Moore is back on the open market? Sa-weet.
Art Sandusky Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I can't figure out if this is really dumb or too high-concept for me to understand.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Cycling is for pussies. Any real man would tell you THIS is the way to go
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Incandenza is losing it and I just don't know what to do anymore. Morbidly I honestly am curious at to where this new persona will take him within the TSM realm, but at the same time....it's just not him I fear for us all sometimes, I really do.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Incandenza is like Pantera in a way. Started off kind of cheesy like everyone else, then developed a cutting edge way of relating to everyone, gained a fanbase, then totally lost it. Which thread will be his Reinventing the Steel??
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Incandenza is losing it am not
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Quite frankly, I'd be honored if someone thinks of me as "Inc-Lite"
razazteca Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 In the World of Next Tuesday, Football Refs will be on Cycles. OMG a Ripping Friends reference.

No, I'm not losing like I can't hack it on this board anymore, but I'm losing my identity, since it's been appropriated by so many people now. Unless that's what happened to Pantera. It's not like I'd know.

It's not like I'd know. Actually that's a perfect analogy In the early 90's, after Nirvana et al killed off the hair metal movement and the old mainstream metal bands that were still around (eg Metallica, Megadeth, etc.) were beginning to be viewed as old hat by the mainstream music media, Pantera stepped forward with Vulgar Display (following the notable debut Cowboys from Hell from 1990) and was put forth as the new fresh face of metal, which of course brought about the copycats (as the music cycle goes) So yes, in a way, you're right BTW, I'm certainly not guilty of stealing any of your personality No sir
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 In the World of Next Tuesday, Football Refs will be on Cycles. OMG a Ripping Friends reference. I thought it was from Ren and Stimpy.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 Ripping Friends along with Ren and Stimpy were created by the same man; Jon K.(I won't attempt to spell the last name because I'll butcher it severely). It wouldn't be surprising if it was used in both series.
Spaceman Spiff Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 Quite frankly, I'd be honored if someone thinks of me as "Inc-Lite" You wish.
The Metal Maniac Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 Well, Ripping Friends was the one which had a show or two specifically about The Man From Next Tuesday or whatever, I can tell you that much.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 Quite frankly, I'd be honored if someone thinks of me as "Inc-Lite" You wish. You'd be cooler if you had a Hagar the Horrible avatar.
Scroby Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 You know the only good part of watching cycling is when their all bunched up like that and you watch someone fall and watch like 10 people crash because of it.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 Pantera (and to a lesser extent Machine Head) created Nu Metal. Incandenza created Nu Candenza Both offshoots were completely accidental creations that greatly troubled their progenitors. This is all coming together. I think we are fully reaching the root and depths of the problem.
justsoyouknow Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 So now we just need to figure out what caused the death of Nu Metal and then we apply the same tactics to Nu Cadenza. Would it be the rise of shitty pop-punk or the explosion of hip-hop? Because if it's shitty pop-punk, then we're going to have to have someone start acting all hardcore despite the fact that we all know it's an image. But (IB) who (IB) could (IB) we (IB) get (IB) to (IB) pretend (IB) to (IB) be (IB) hardcore?
