Major Trade On the Table involving the LA Clippers

Apparently, the Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers are discussing a deal that would send the Clippers' #2 pick, Marco Jaric and Chris Wilcox to Philadelphia in return for Allen Iverson.

 

Interesting, eh ?

 

Perhaps the Clippers will FINALLY make the playoffs after being in the black hole of the NBA for what seems like an eternity.

That would be interesting since Iverson would Brand and a few other great players to play around. But he would start whining the second he realizes he's not the only superstar on the team and try to force them to ship Brand and co. away for players who are just there to pass to Iverson.

Clippers are stupid if they do this. They can get a quality player with the #2 overall pick that's young and could help them for years to come. Iverson is getting old and his knees and shoulder are wearing down as well.

No one should make a play for Kobe until his trial is over. It would look really bad to sign him and then him go to jail.

The problem with Kobe is that he can still be convicted once his trial starts in AUGUST. He's a risk for any team, including the Lakers.
