Guest OraleHolmes Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Apparently, the Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers are discussing a deal that would send the Clippers' #2 pick, Marco Jaric and Chris Wilcox to Philadelphia in return for Allen Iverson. Interesting, eh ? Perhaps the Clippers will FINALLY make the playoffs after being in the black hole of the NBA for what seems like an eternity.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 That would be interesting since Iverson would Brand and a few other great players to play around. But he would start whining the second he realizes he's not the only superstar on the team and try to force them to ship Brand and co. away for players who are just there to pass to Iverson.
bobobrazil1984 Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 might as well, he aint doing jack shit for Philly these days.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Clippers are stupid if they do this. They can get a quality player with the #2 overall pick that's young and could help them for years to come. Iverson is getting old and his knees and shoulder are wearing down as well.
Krankor Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 The Clippers should really try to get Kobe. Iverson isn't the answer to anyones problems
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 No one should make a play for Kobe until his trial is over. It would look really bad to sign him and then him go to jail.
Guest OraleHolmes Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 It's funny that you said he isn't the ANSWER to anyone's problems, when, in fact, his nickname is the ANSWER. The problem with Kobe is that he can still be convicted once his trial starts in AUGUST. He's a risk for any team, including the Lakers.
Krankor Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 It's funny that you said he isn't the ANSWER to anyone's problems, when, in fact, his nickname is the ANSWER Yeah thats why I said it. As long as the Lakers are hurt in someway by the trade I'll be happy
Shanghai Kid Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 What exactly is the source for this? Iverson is involed in a trade rumor every other week.
Cartman Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 If Kobe gets convicted, and Scott Peterson doesn't I am going to enjoy the downfall of the US justice system.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 So, Orale is talking out of his ass again ? Not even Philly is that dumb.
Guest Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Of course he's talking out of his ass. Who wants Marko Jaric and Chris Wilcox? They are trash.
razazteca Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 The Clippers will never ever make the playoffs.
Guest Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 They will when Donald Sterling dies, that season in fact.
The Czech Republic Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 The Clippers will never ever make the playoffs. Warriors are going to make it in before the Clippers. Perhaps next year.
The Czech Republic Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Yeah, more like OMG FAUX SPORTS NET~! Or not. Maybe he's telling the truth; if Orale dreamt it up, it'd be that Iverson was being traded for an AND1 streetballer to be named later.
