Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Fuck Bob Holly. If he could actually work an entertaining match now and again without the help of someone else, it might be different. It's like a post count - you have can 20,000 posts of shit or 500 posts of quality. Seriously, the fact that he has been known to not go along with angles just shits me off even more - maybe he has a point here, because Booker T's squashes are fucking the SmackDown! roster over, but you have to take his skills and history into consideration. And when I went into this thread, Trivia, I thought that you meant a program between Vince and Holly. I thought I was gonna be sick.

DCMaximo Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Why would Booker go over Holly, and fight the Undertaker in the same night? How often do guys pull double duty, really? I think the story meant last weeks Smackdown tapings, where Booker indeed beat Scotty 2 Hotty, which would give Booker momentum for this weeks tapings, where he fought the Undertaker
Guest Dazed Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 That's what I get for posting before my morning coffee. You're quite right. Fuck him for refusing to job, fuck anyone who refuses for no reason.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 That's what I get for posting before my morning coffee. You're quite right. Fuck him for refusing to job, fuck anyone who refuses for no reason. I agree with that for sure. Hopefully Vince will now have Holly jobbing on house shows to Paul London........nah, I doubt Vince is really that mad.
Guest Goodear Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I don't have the violent hatred for Bob Holly that some here do, but if this rumor is true... the guy needs to go. He's been a jobber to the stars for 95 % of his career for a reason and for him to put up a 'I shouldn't be squashed' front now is almost crazy. Holly is a veteran pressence in the lockerroom and Vince has a certain degree of loyalty to those sorts of guys, but as we saw with Faarooq earlier this year, that loyalty is not inexhaustable. Holly pulls this nonsense enough and McMahon will put him out to pasture.

It's also sickening to think of how much WWE are wasting Paul London's and other cruiserweights' talent. I mean, there's just no fucking excuse for it, or logical reason.
Guest Goodear Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Please try to stay on topic -IB- we've discussed that particular brand of idiocy all over the place already. New Idoicy, that's my motto.
Slayer Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I misread the thread title and thought there was a fight between Molly and Vince
Spaceman Spiff Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 How is Bob Holly showing "loyalty" and "dedication"? WCW wasn't banging on his door like they were for Taker or Shawn or even D'Lo brown for that matter... He isn't loyal...he's just lucky that he managed to get over for one year and ride it past the fire sales. WCW's interest in Taker wasn't that great since he wouldn't have been able to bring the Undertaker gimmick with him. I'm sure they would have liked to get him, but without the gimmick, interest was severely lessened.
humongous2002 Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 If this story is true or not true it has been common knowledge that Holly is nothing more than an angry asshole and he's lucky to have a job even though he is as worthless as one of Rikishi's farts.
Vyce Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I'm just enjoying the supreme counterproductiveness that is the Smackdown booking team. Yeah, they wanted Holly to job to Booker...... .....only to give Booker some heat to go and job to Undertaker in a squash. Fuck EVERY ONE of them - except Booker.
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 In an interesting sidebar, at last week’s show, Holly reportedly complained, very carefully, to Vince McMahon that he and Gunn were being pushed as a tag team and that being split up to put over Booker T. in a storyline to build heat for Booker worked against where the writers had promised them they were headed. It ended up that Booker worked against Scotty Too Hotty. After that meeting, I heard from a few of the workers that he was telling people that he stood up to Vince and yelled at the WWE Chairman. He presented it to the boys very differently from how it actually went down from what I was told and I didn’t talk to one worker who believed Holly actually yelled at Vince. Credit: PWInsider.com Note to Trivia: Notice how after cut and pasting a story, I put where it came from afterward? Not hard.
Kizzo Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 Fire his ass...the guy is worthless in my opinion..

When I found this story It DID NOT have a SOURCE was just found on one of those wrestling websites. I thought it was a interesting story but didn't want to give it to much credence So I kept saying Up and down the damn thing that is was a Rumor and take it as a what if. However later on obvious the Story was in fact confirmible by the Torch later on which I expected. SO its Not hard when there is a actual source to also add. So mind cutting some slack...Thats not hard either
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 then SAY it had no source with the original post for christ's sake. Everyone knows you need to quote a source for rumors.
