Lita's dog is dead

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the latest installment of Matt Hardy’s journey through this thing we call life. I hope everyone is doing well, because the journey is not always a "walk in the park." I’ve had a very tough and challenging month, but life goes on–either with or without you.

I’m sure that most of you diehard Mattitude Followers remember when I suffered a torn MCL in my left knee about a year and a half ago. On May 2, in Yuma, Ariz., I badly hyperextended my left knee during my match. Although it was very painful, I figured I would be able to make it through RAW in a non-wrestling role on Monday. Then I guessed I could rest my knee for a couple of days and it would be alright. Bad guess. The following Friday, May 7, in New Orleans, my knee went out again, but only worse. That night I literally couldn’t walk, Amy (Lita) had to carry me into our hotel room. I stayed awake the majority of the night, icing my knee in 20-minute cycles. Fortunately, the RAW trainer got me an awesome knee brace that allowed me to finish up the weekend by hobbling through very short matches. It’s amazing what a knee brace and adrenaline will get you through. After being examined, it turns out I’ve done more damage to my left MCL. My entire left knee is just weaker because of the damaged ligaments in it, so it wears and tears faster then it should. The last few weeks, I’ve made it my priority to rehab and strengthen my left knee, and it seems to be helping. If I don’t strengthen my knee, there is a very good chance of tearing a vital ligament that would require major surgery. No thanks, knock on wood.

I was happy to be a part of the RAW brand’s very grueling "Tour of Defiance" last week in Europe. The tour of Ireland and England was extremely successful, as WWE produced incredible entertainment in front of incredible fans. The European MFers were out in full force as V1 received awesome ovations every night. There was a ton of Mattitude signs and plenty of "Hardy" and "Version One" chants–the U.K. MFers were very good to their sensei. I really enjoy wrestling in front of the hungry European fans. Besides the tough travel and schedule, this was my first week of having full-fledged matches with my bad knee. Although I feel a little slower due to favoring my knee, the old wheel held up and I’m gonna continue to work through it.

One of the positives recently has been my role on RAW. I am very happy to be a fan-favorite again, as I think I can progress further in the role at this time. It’s also nice to be involved in a weekly issue, even if I don’t come out on top every week. It gives me something to work towards, something to overcome. Just in case you haven’t noticed, throughout my career, winning isn’t the major denominator that has made me (or the Hardy Boyz) successful. What has made me successful is great performances inside the ring, full of compelling, passionate entertainment. That has been supplemented with my true personality shining through as V1, plus a chance to cater towards my strengths as a singles wrestler. As I’ve said before, "It’s not if you win or lose, it’s how you entertain."

A quick note to all my MFers on my newest character direction as mentioned in the previous paragraph. The feedback to me "doing the right thing" and reuniting with Lita has been amazingly positive thus far. Much like the situation with Jeff, people like Lita and I together as allies. The Version One personality is alive and well, although special situations will now call for certain behavior. A true Mattitude Follower not only supports Matt Hardy the character, but more importantly supports Matt Hardy the person. That is the golden rule of Mattitude.Welcome to the latest installment of Matt Hardy’s journey through this thing we call life. Random ramblings:

-Maybe the reason I decided to save Lita was to get my life and career back to where it needed to be. A recent Matt Fact stated, "Matt believes in karma." My career may have been in a "slump" due to the fact of what goes around comes around. My character had done a lot of bad things to good people, with Lita probably being the most important. Could this play into my situation? Stay tuned to find out.

-Christian and I currently hold the WWE record for maintaining the longest full-time schedules without missing any time, including major injuries: 5 1/2 years. I’ve been working through my MCL injury, while Christian is currently attempting to battle a bad back. We’ve been competing to see who could work the longest without time off, but our “bump cards” are catching up to us.

-Stevie Richards, who is included in a personal pix, is a heavily underrated performer. I dare the CEO of Steviecorp and the GM of Heat to get any leaner.

-Another personal pix shows me wearing the only trucker hat I own. It reads "Danger: High Voltage." No way could I pass up buying this hat and representing my first-ever wrestling persona, High-Voltage. "What are you gonna do when 10,000 watts flow? Can you survive? I don’t think so. Countdown to your Armageddon. Chuka-chuukkkaahhhh!"

-As most of you know, I love my MFers, and I love to interact with them. If you run into me somewhere, feel free to come up and say hello; I’m very approachable. As I joke with my New Haven amigo, Clark, I may not be the biggest, strongest, fastest or greatest wrestler of all time, but I have earned a title. As Clark says, I have officially been dubbed "Matt Hardy Version One, the most fan friendly wrestler of all time."

-Cities of the month include Fresno, Spokane, and Rockford, Ill. Internationally, Dublin, Manchester, and Birmingham have to be included. All of these cities gave me tremendous ovations and people were throwing V1's up at every turn.

-My new shirt went to print last week. Here’s a little hint about what it says: What does Matt Hardy make you feel? Love, hate, fear, happiness, inspiration, drive, laughter, anger – whatever it is, you feel something. So remember this warning - "Mattitude may cause severe side effects."

As always, thanks for checking out the "Latest Version," a combination of my life, my wrestling info and my philosophy. I want to leave you with this–cherish every moment of the special things in your life. Don’t take anything for granted because that anything can be gone in an instant. You can’t control the future, you can only do your best to prepare for it and make the most of it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I believe good things happen to good people. But unfortunately, as terrible as it is, things happen that we can’t always control. We just have to make the best of all the things we can control, and hope we get a little luck on the way.

A month ago, Amy and I lost our dog, Mason. Mason was killed in a tragic accident that happened in an instant. Mason was never out of our sight and traveled everywhere with us. I’ve never been a huge animal person, but Mason changed that. Amy and I treated him like a child, and we both miss him more than I could ever explain. That’s the main reason the last few weeks have been tough. Don’t take anything for granted. A split-second can change everything. Be well, and until then …

Remember the episode of the Sopranos where a drugged out Christopher sat on Cosette?

Replace "Christopher" with "Jeff Hardy" and "Cosette" with "Mason"

Um, weren't the Hardy Boys given two months off to "recharge" in late-2001, early-2002?

Perhaps they were still on the house show circuit even though they were off television.

Lita never looked better...I guess we found out how Matt Hardy deals with sleeping with Lita every night. He buys WWE masks and has her wear them.

So Kane killed Lita's dog and then had sex with it. It fits perfectly!

Although it gave me a bit of a chuckle, I give Deon Dark the BBCW "Stamp of Stupidity" for the day.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Apparantly, according to Kane, the dog was better than Lita. ;)

Aww...the last Raw show here in Calgary I got to meet Lita's dog. One of the crew guys had to take it out for a walk. That really sucks.

Lita's ugly. But she's a beast in bed.

Where did I hear that? Because I've been hearing that on the internet since 2001.

The topic of this thread is hilarious. It made me think of the picture with Dean biting the dog's head.

I just had to dig through my wrestling pictures and find it.

Hurricane Helms is dreadful looking. Sadly, Lita still has him beat.

some interview where she basically said she does everything imaginable in the bed...very open with Anal Sex and threesomes and shit...

Too bad Trish and Victoria have a little class and keep it private.

Why can't people be open with their sexuality? I could care if she admits to love cocks in her ass. Wrestling fans are prudes.

No, wrestling fans would go apeshit and cream their jeans whenever Lita walked out on stage, as well as chant things at her. Wrestling fans have the sexual maturity of a 13-year-old, remember? Best to avoid situations like that, says I.

What the fuck? I wanna know how the dog died. Jump out the hotel window? Hit by a car? Lita came home stoned and threw it in the oven?

I need answers!
