Nothing's really on, so sitting here watching tapes from around the Royal Rumble time period, and started thiniking of how Benoit just sort of 'jumped' because he had teh right to choose which title. And as we all know SD is low on main eventers...so what Raw superstar now could you see actually going over to Smackdown and main eventing...since SD still has the arguement that Benoit left without them getting anything in return. (Even though youcould say Heyman kind of, but ignore that.)

Topic also came as a result of reading something about Scott Steiner, so even though he's not the best, I know that may be a decent enough choice for some.

I'd like to see Shawn go to Smackdown eventually.

Quite a few dream matches he could have with that roster.

Posted

Batista goes to Smackdown and completes the transformation into the new Brock Lesnar, only a much cooler, super styling version.

Posted

Smackdown needs someone who can run with Eddy while be interesting at the same time. Shawn Michaels would be a good pick. However, the best pick (to me) would probably be Chris Jericho.

Posted

Oh Jerichos the best pick without a doubt, but I want him to stay on Raw so let him stay there until he retires.

Posted

I think a heel Edge would make a nice match for Eddie.

I mentioned this in another thread, but if the plan is to let Steiner's contract expire, they should send him to SD to feed him to Eddie.

Posted
Why? They never did anything with him.

Exactly. Jobbing to vanilla rookie John Cena so many times was bad enough, imagine how bad it would be if he was feuding with stale rapper face John Cena.

Cena:"Jericho, you CAAAAAN'T SEE ME! So choke on DEEEEEEZ!" *Cena throws Jericho a bag of nuts*

I agree with Michaels, but I also think Christian should be elevated to a Main Event status on Smackdown! '

And as indifferent as I am about him, RVD should be main eventing Smackdown if he isn't already. He is still a draw, isn't he?

Posted

Which Raw superstar COULD main event Smackdown? Right now, every single one of them...

Who should? Well, personally, I'd say it'd be best to move HBK over. HBK/Eddie has the potential to be off the charts, and that way we could really hold out the HBK/Angle dream match for WM 21.

Other than that, Jericho seems to be the best candidate.

Jericho should have been moved over on Smackdown during the draft lottery. There is nothing for him on RAW, and he needs to get away from HHH in the worst way.

I'd probably be all for Jericho getting moved back to Smackdown if it meant that John Cena wouldn't bury heel Jericho every week with shitty face raps and have another feud with him.

Jericho

Imagine how much better an Eddie/Jericho feud would be than Eddie/JBL.

I'd be all for a face Jericho vs heel Cena feud. Jericho's act as a face can get pretty lame, but him ripping on Cena's raps would be good stuff. Just so long as it's nothing like the Cena/Angle feud. I'd say move Jericho to SD, but I don't want that until they blow off his feud with Christian and give us a 20 minute match with him and Benoit.

Of course Batista isn't the next Brock...

He's still with the company, willing to improve and willing to job to anyone they want.

He's said he wants to work a program with Orton.

My Norwegian vote goes to Scott Steiner.....Call me drunk or crazy or even both, but i have a soft spot for Freakzilla...And i think he would do great as a heel on Smackdown....

Storyline wise; They could say that from the moment he entered wwe he wanted to work for Smackdown...BUT for this to work, Stephanie McMahon would also be back on tv....(remember the "signing war" between Eric & Steph over Scott?)

And we don't want Steph back on tv, would we ??

the person who said Shawn moving to Smackdown would result in dream matches...

Angle and Eddy.

What else is a dream yet realistic match? Shawn/Knoble would be off the fucking hook but it'll never happen.

Shawn/RVD in 1997 would have a great match to watch but not shawn past his prime and rvd unmotivated as he is and we saw that sloppy 7 minute match anyways and it was the shits.

Shawn should come back to Raw and take out Kane and then say he's going after HHH again but HHH manages to get Shawn to violate some "rule" and thus Shawn is sent to Smackdown after Eric makes a plea to The Board that Shawn is a disruption to the raw roster and that he would kindly ask for them to give one time only window to trade with GM Kurt Angle of Smackdown. So they give Bischoff one week to do it...so right away, eric calls Angle up and makes a offer but angle doesn't know but invites him to the smackdown show as a special guest...

There it is, Eric interacts with various superstars to figure who he wants and has run ins with his former workers like Booker and RVD whom berate his leadership qualities...At the end of the show, Angle announces that he has Made a trade and it's a big one and that Next week, HBK will make his Smackdown debut but doesn't divuldge who he traded.

Eric Announces on raw that yes indeed HBK is gone from Raw for good and he got a huge deal in return for him but doesn't say.

Main event that Night...Chris Benoit and Jericho Vs Orton and Batistisa andas Jericho puts Orton in the walls...The newest raw superstar...attacks them.

I can't decide who that guy should be though...

but anyways...Shawn instantly goes to his heelish ways and starts something with Eddy...setting up the first of the series for Unforgiven, where Shawn wins via DQ and they have the big blowoff at Surser with Eddy getting the win. Shawn does Heel stuff to a face like Mysterio or RVD to kill time until the rumble where Shawn gurantees he will win his third rumble and take Eddy for good (Eddy spends the two months in a transition feud with booker to kill time)...

Shawn and another smd star...like RVD i guess are the final two sd workers but are doubly eliminated but Shawn disputes it saying rvd was out first and he illegally pulled him over.

Shawn bitches at angle, whom shown trends of face turn for a awhile and Angle says screw you shawn...two weeks later Angle announces he has been medically cleared to wrestle and shawn immeditally takes action, Superkicking him off his crutches and that sets up Angle, whom forfeits his gm role to someone to wrestle Shawn at WMXXI.

One word.... BRADSHAW!

Seriously though, I think the point is to add guys to Smackdown, not even steven swap it.

you can always just use a guy like Rikishi and say he was a big trade...it's all about how you sell it....if you convince the fans it's a big trade then it's a big trade.

Look at TBS...He was damaged goods when he got traded to SD and then in a months time he was a legit main eventer.

I wish someone would catch the nuts, open them and start eating them. Why not? Free food!

but cena would just imply that person is "gay"...well even more so.

"Man, That boy is sucking down on dem nuts, no way. Everyone say it with me...YOUR GAY!"

Wasn't the cage match supposed to be the blowoff?

Somewhat. But then after that when they continued Jericho/Trish...and now Tomko, that sort of made it seem as if the feud with the faction isn't over. So in a sense Jericho/Christian has yet to end.

Umm...I say that since he beat Trish's servant and got back at her and the fact trish moved onto the title scene and Jericho started back with HHH...That the feud was blown off for good.
