Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted June 22, 2004 No, it was the collective crying of every wrestling fan with a brain.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted June 22, 2004 Rock got more laughs out of me in that opening segment than John Cena has in at least six months. After that, the show dragged on and on with the seemingly endless barrage of skits and long, frequent commercial breaks. Kane surprisingly did a good job of holding up his end of the match at Bad Blood (finally watched the match a couple of days ago), so let's see if he can do it again next week. If there's no Sportz Entertainment shenanigans I'll be shocked.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 Rock sounded like a stand-up comedian. It was awesome. But still, half the crowd was trying to boo him out of the building.
Guest Arm Report post Posted June 22, 2004 When the Eugene/HHH match started, WWE dudes in black (acting on orders given by radio) + event staff swooped into the crowd like secret service and snatched away a pink EUGENE SUCKS sign. I laughed.

Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 Goddamn, I am a happy boy. 1) HHH didn't job. Why the hell he even sold so much was beyond me when he doesn't even sell that much for guys like Booker T. 2) "Eugene Sucks" signs in the crowd. OH YES MY BROTHERS, I AM NOT ALONE! Kill it! Kill it! Kill it!
iamsherm 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 Here's a question my friend and I were wondering: Was HHH's selling of the test of strength legit (in character, at least) or was that all part of his plan to bait Eugene?
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 Rock got more laughs out of me in that opening segment than John Cena has in at least six months. that was the best non-wrestling segment i've seen so far this year...though him not coming back for the last match kind of seemed retarded, but oh well... ragingfear79 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 I was there live and it sucked major ass i dont know how it came off on tv, but the crowd for the most part was dead, The rock segment got a huge pop, other than that it pretty much stayed quiet cept maybe when eugene came out and after the live tv went off the air. After the show, Regal and Molly signed some autographs from their cars, they by far where the coolest ones. Noone else really acknowldge anyone, cept maybe for Batista and Edge who waved hello. Funny thing was seeing Stacy, Randy and I cant remember who else carpooling.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted June 23, 2004 OK, quick question: Does ANYBODY actually believe that Jericho was "legit injured"? Because on the 411 boards, trying to convince people that it was a total work is nigh impossible. -=Mike

Because on the 411 boards, trying to convince people that it was a total work is nigh impossible. -=Mike Jericho's a pretty good actor, so I can see why people would believe so. I was gullible enough to believe it for a minute. He did hit his head pretty hard, and went completely limp with a bad colouring to his face.

But you'd think the total lack of any news of him being injured by now would slow them down. Nope. They STILL think he's hurt. -=Mike
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2004 -The pointless Diva contest was all over Raw tonight, and that means we'll see more fluffers (credit: AndrewTS) in WWE instead of good female wrestlers, obviously. *Bows* If it's a legit contest, which would be really stupid and pointless. Why is WWE bothering to use footage of the girls who didn't even make it to the official contest? WHO CARES?!?! If it is just a way to get Alexis on TV, you'd think they'd learn that NOBODY GIVES A **** ABOUT ANYONE NEW JUST BECAUSE THEY WON A CONTEST!!! Nidia, Maven, Cracka Jackie, Linda, Nitro and that other guy--NOBODY CARES IF THEY WON TOUGH ENOUGH! GIVE FANS A REAL REASON TO CARE!!! -Did Jericho's neck actually get worse or is WWE doing another stupid "injury" angle? There's no news on it yet, so either it is just an angle, or Jericho's working through it. -The anticlimatic ending with Benoit missing HHH with the chairshot and hitting Eugene instead, of course. Oh, and another thing: THE GOD DAMN WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IS STILL NOT GETTING THE FUCKING FOCUS ON RAW BECAUSE OF A RETARD AND A SPOTLIGHT HOGGING KLIQ MEMBER! Agreed. Benoit's lucky to even get a match, let alone the main event timeslot. Why do they have enough confidence in him to let him go over in the main events of PPVs but not enough confidence to let him actually act like the Raw champ? It's hard to even remember that Benoit still holds the title and HHH doesn't have it.
