Yeah i was about ti suggest that the WWE kick themselves in the nuts again like they seem to do each year with an angle and have Lita get an abortion to explain where the baby goes. It would have fit in well if Chavo Classic was still around and it was his baby, seeing as his final gimmick was that he had ho's hanging off him. Then it will prove to me that in order for a girl to turn heel, she has to be a heartless bitch to the sympathetic male face. Damn that Bischoff! Damn him to hell" Which will lead to a Kane face turn when he gets revenge on Eric for his lost child and him a Matt Hardy form a pointless tag team like a bad episode of My Two Dads. The most I've heard is that people are talking to him, trying to convince him to come back. Which is a hell of a big difference than him agreeing to return and the WWE drawing up a contract. Guest Jack Potts Report post Posted June 23, 2004 The ONLY way to bring a shred of dignity to the dead-end pregancy angle is to bring a little more realism and depth to the characters involved by turning it into a pseudo-female empowerment angle. First, have Kane pester Lita backstage with gifts like teddy bears and cribs that take on a creepy resonance once he starts cutting heartfelt, but nonetheless eerie promos about his desire to create the family life that he was denied. Lita takes it for awhile, until she finally goes off on Kane. Kane is briefly cowed, and tries to make it up to her, until he is rebuffed again, and threatens bodily harm. At this point, Matt could make the save, leading to a blowoff PPV match with Lita ringside, from which V1 emerges victorious. However, the following night on Raw, she calls Matt to the ring and says she loves him with all her heart, but their past is just too checkered by heartache and betrayal to make their relationship work. If he looks inside his heart, he'll realize the same thing, too. She makes the decision to raise the child alone. Let the pregancy appear to continue, with Lita lobbying for a job as a commentator, a la Terri Runnels, which continues for a couple weeks until she realizes that it isn't paying the bills, and it won't be enough to raise a child on. She begs Bischoff to let her in the ring again. A reluctant Bischoff verifies the medical clearance, but demands weekly checkups. Each week the doctor's clearance could be a little more tenuous. Faced with the inevitable reality that she will soon be unable to make a living as a wrestler for a while, Lita's desperation is ratcheted up, because she knows that she has to quickly make enough money to secure the little tyke's future. If she just had a shot at the belt... After a little wrangling, and Bischoff coldly requiring a liability waiver from Lita, Uncle Eric grants Lita the title shot. Unfortunately, the night of the match, her doctor warns her not to perform any aerial moves, particularly her crappy Litasault. Lita faces the unsympathetic Trish Stratus for the belt, but the Canadian blonde refuses to go quit after 1...2...3 Twists of Fate! Finally, Lita eyes the turnbuckle like Lesnar in Wrestlemania 19. She climbs to the top rope, hits the Litasault and gets the pin! J.R. delivers gushing commentary about the fortitude of a mother trying to provide for her child. The ref raises Lita's arm in glorious victory as her music plays. She walks out of the ring, belt in hand, soaking up the adulation of the crowd. Lita makes it halfway down the ramp, and collapses... Ultimately, Lita miscarries. Unable to defend the title, she has to forfeit it, which spares us another Lita title reign. However, Lita's strength is not her wrestling, it's her ability to connect to a young, female fanbase. This storyline could allow Lita to assert her independence, and allow that fanbase to follow her struggle while she tries to do the right thing for herself and her unborn child.
