Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted June 28, 2004 Ozzfest's tickets are like a mortgage payment. That's no bullshit, and unless you like shilling out even more for pavillion seating, you'll be up in the lawn with the rest of the hoi polloi, since they only seem to do shows at big ampitheater-type venues. There's no way I'm paying that much to see Slayer from that far away when I can go to Jager and get right up front and maybe meet them again. I shot the shit with 'em all but Kerry King last time, and got Angela Gossow's sweat on my lips, which I can still taste.

HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2004 Ozzfest's tickets are like a mortgage payment. That's true. But if you were like me, you would of won two tickets on K-Rock after waiting till 4 in the morning. Yes, I am bragging. And I am tired.

PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2004 The bizarre trio of Jimmy Cliff, Ben Folds and The Bloodhound Gang, I think. Glasto was the main one. MOZZA.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted July 3, 2004 Since there's not going to be much in the way of decent concerts down here in Australia any time soon, I guess i'll be waiting a while. At least we'll be getting In Flames and Chimaira touring together in September .
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2004 3DD and Nickelback Yuck. I don't mind radio rock that much, but that line-up is terrible. In addition to them, you've got Puddle of Mudd, and freakin' 12 Stones was just added. Do yourself a favor and buy the first album from a band called Thornley. They're the opening band on the show, and while their music is not spectacular, it's still better than the shit you'll be inundated with the rest of the night. I've always wanted to see Disturbed do a headlining show, and Philly isn't getting any off-Ozzfest dates besides for a Lacuna Coil headlining show.

MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2004 Just saw KISS/Poison last night. For a mild KISS fan, I had a good time. Crowd in Cleveland didn't seem to notice when Stanley said the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame was in Pittsburgh. Really odd.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2004 Dimmu Borgir was really disappointing live. I could have told you that. It's like Alice Cooper, but more campy.

Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Well it looks like my Cryptopsy bragging backfired in the form of a jinx. Doesn't look like they are gonna be rolling through town for the deathfest. I think I'm going to cry.
Guest stoor Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Just this for me: Metallica - Aug. 20 Milwaukee Aug. 27 Chicago Aug. 28 Chicago They're one of my favorite bands [plus they don't play a lot of new stuff live] so that's why I'm seeing them multiple times this summer. I thought Pearl Jam was going to do a mini-tour this summer [they talked about it when I saw them in East Troy in June of last year] but I guess they decided not to do it, so Metallica is it for me this summer. Guest stoor Report post Posted July 8, 2004 I just have a problem with saving money, Choken. I work about 20 hours a week, and I spent about two months' worth of salary on GA tickets to four shows. [i forgot about Sept. 27 in Green Bay]. I try not to think about how much I spent. [i will when I'll need to get a student loan a few years from now]. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Dimmu Borgir was really disappointing live. I could have told you that. It's like Alice Cooper, but more campy. I was expecting "Ok" and I got what I got instead. I went for Cryptopsy anyway, and they certainly did not disappoint.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 8, 2004 I've also got a few chances to see Dillinger again this summer. They've got two dates in Chicago on consecutive nights, and one in Columbus at the Grog House, which I'll probably attend. I might check out Mastodon/Fear Factory at the Zane Shawnee Caverns in OH as well. Clutch is doing a couple dates in Flint, Michigan, too. At least you almost got to see Cryptopsy.. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 8, 2004 You CAN see Cannibal Corpse, though..they're on tour all over Western Canada..
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Yes, I'm aware of what fucking cannibal corpse is doing, they are coming to my city on the 16th with black dahlia murder. Unfortunately, I give no fuck for either of those bands. I actually quite enjoyed the new Fear Factory album, so I wouldn't mind seeing them again. I've never heard a lick of Mastodon so I don't know if I'd see them
