Karnage 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2004 Late Night with Conan O’Brien 10th Anniversary Special DVD Conan O”Brien celebrates the last 10 years of Late Night goodness with the “10th Anniversary Special” of NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” Shot at New York City’s famed Beacon Theatre, this star-studded primetime MEGA-event features the sketches and familiar characters that have made Conan what Entertainment Weekly calls “Late Night’s King of Cool.” You’ll see appearances by Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and the Bear. Plus the return of Andy Richter, and all the funniest highlights from this Emmy nominated, top-rated show – and even a string dance or two! The Best of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog DVD Viewers of NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” have long clamored for a collection of vintage poops from Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. Since his first appearance on “Late Night” in 1997, the raucous, raunchy, cigar-smoking, bow-tie wearing, pooch has made dog meat of everything, from the esteemed Westminster Dog Show to his celebrity-trashing of Bon Jovi, Hollywood Squares, and the Video Music Awards to the infamous romp through Quebec and the legendary Attack of the Nerds at a Star Wars premiere. Throw in an additional 90 minutes of bonus footage, including Triumph’s very first appearance, other in-studio collisions with guests like Jerry Springer and Simon Cowell, his “I Keed” music video, and never-before-seen outtakes, and you have the ultimate anthology… “for me to poop on!” This is just awesome news, I hope they have some extras too. treble 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2004 I'll definitely pick up the Triumph one, but I already have the 10th anniversary show on tape, so unless they throw on nice looking extras I'll probably pass (unless it's real cheap).

razazteca 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2004 I would like to see a best of the celebritiy interviews as done by the drop down tvs with Robert Smegle doing the voices of the Presidents, Gov Arnold, Don King, etc.... Robert Smegle should have his own multiple dvd best of NBC late night collection! It could include his work on Conan O'Brien Show and SNL animations.
Guest FileCabinet Report post Posted July 1, 2004 I'll buy them if they have a lot of material. I hope the Triumph DVD includes his appearance at the American Idol 3 auditions.

Eclipse 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 Yep, must get. I never got to tape the anniversary special, and having it on DVD is better. Of course, I must have the Truimph DVD as well..
razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2004 Does the dvd include the episode right after the MTV Movie Award where Truimph had the press conference about being beat up by Eminem? Or the one about how the voice of Sponge Bob was influenced by midgets getting rejected from a commercial audition?

JasonX 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2004 Robert Smegle should have his own multiple dvd best of NBC late night collection! It could include his work on Conan O'Brien Show and SNL animations. Robert Smegle has gone on the record of saying not to expect any sort of DVD compilation for his TV Funhouse SNL shorts do to the problems getting the music rights cleared. Guest Mikey2Dope Report post Posted July 5, 2004 Aug. 10th? I can't be right thats a saturday and as far as I know nothing is released on a Saturday. Maybe its the 13th? Aug. 10 is a Tuesday. I loved the 10th Anniversary episode and may pick it up if it has some good extras but I'll probably pass on the Triumph DVD. I have a ton of his skits on tape and find that besides the Star Wars and Quebec ones very few have rewatch value and get very old very fast.
