jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 I don't understand my team. The week of the important playoff game they have their worst game of the year, then this week in the losers bracket they have one of the best of the year. Hopefully they play more consistently through next year.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 Congrats to Injuried Prone DTD and Gotham Harlequinns as they most likely will battle for the Keeper League Championship.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 I was lucky to have several players blow up this week. Although next season, I think the playoffs should be Weeks 14-15 and Championship Week 16 so the teams have everybody playing rather than a guy having Favre who only plays a half. Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 So how many guys can we keep?
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 3-6. Next year, starters will be 1-2-3-1-1-1. If you choose to keep less than 6, you must list who you want to put up for the Madness Round. So if you keep 3 players, you have to offer 3 players that you don't keep for the Madness round.

Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Let's see what I can salvage from this crappy auto-drafted team that I somewhat salvaged thru the waiver wire. Darkside Dominators(0 keepers at the moment) Dr. Tom - QB Drew Bledsoe -WR Eric Moulds - WR Javon Walker - RB Fred Taylor - RB Rudi Johnson - TE Boo Williams - WR Rod Gardner - QB Jake Delhomme - WR Cedrick Wilson - RB Amos Zereoue - K David Akers - DEF New York Jets - DEF Detroit I guess the madness round is when other people can claim (as keepers, presumably) fellows not kept by other teams?
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 ...ok. You keep 6 people. If you do not wish to keep six people, but want some Madness picks, you forfeit 1 to 3 players from the 6 so you can get Madness picks. The downside of the that is the people must be apart of your team since Week 9 and the people who you let go can not be drafted by yourself in the Madness or regular draft. Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 I emailed Harley and told him I wanted to keep Vick and Witten. Now I would also like to keep Muhsin Muhammed. I'll forfeit the other keepers for entry into the Madness rounds. Harley, you gotta check your emails.

HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2004 Past NFL Drafts and Rookie Value in FF that season. The following total of players all made some contribution during their rookie season. 1999 - 10 players 2000 - 11 players 2001 - 14 players 2002 - 15 players Average: 13 contributing rookies per season. Keep in mind that my definition of a contributing rookie is fairly low, as some of these guys only averaged 30-40 yards a game however that still gives a team 3-4 points and could make them decent bye week pickups/spot starters. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 ^ what he said about drafting order for regular draft. Also, if I can get the last two teams that have not supplied their keepers to either myself or HQ (preferably HQ), I'll then do the Magic Hat Draw for the positioning of the Madness Picks. If those two teams do not supply keepers, you will forfeit your team. No excuses. Also, please remember that there WILL be trades during the off-season, if you so wish to make them. Also, if you want to make a 3 or more way trade, it will be passed.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 An idea on the rookie draft...thoughts, comments would be nice. Make it a 2 round draft, straight style. However, the order it would go would be most points scored to least points scored. So the team that scored the highest points would get first pick. This way, it gives owners a reason to vye for the most points honor rather than settling for just the victory. Also gives the high point winner a bonus for leading the league in that category. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 Question about Madness: Can you only take players optioned for Madness, or any of the draft-eligable players? All draft eligable players. ...cause it wouldn't make sense to fork up someone and not able to draft him for Madness AND Regular draft, and also have them on your team since Week 9. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Considering neither Harley nor I have received information regarding Keepers for STR or Marvin since the last time I asked for them, nor till now. If we (as in KFL) don't receive any news regarding those two, I purpose this to you: Should we hunt down two new managers? And try finding two new managers for the upcoming season. Or should we slash off two teams, add another roster position (WR or Bench) to each team, and make the playoffs the top 6 teams?
