Personally, I'm thinking either The Final Bell or Burning Heart, but my vote has to go with Burning Heart which is a really emotional song, but also a real strong song.

Neither. "There's no easy way out" from Rocky 4 is the best song. That was the song during the reflection video of Rocky and Apollo shortly after Apollo died in the ring. That song just has a place in my heart as the best Rocky song.

OK, that sounded a bit gay, but it's true.

Kinda hard to pick one, but Gonna Fly Now and There's No Easy Way Out are tied for first.

"There's no easy way out" is the best

I am also fond of the song that plays during the credits of Rocky II, but it isn't on the Rocky Story CD...:(

Eye Of The Tiger, but No Easy Way Out, Hearts On Fire, and The song that plays during the training segment with Rocky and Drago in Rocky 4 should be on the poll. God, the Rocky IV soundtrack rules.

I really like Elton John's "Measure of a Man" from Rocky V. I think it's one of his best songs of the '90s, and I really can't believe it never became a hit.

The other songs that you listed aren't on the poll, but the one you referenced here is almost certainly Burning Heart.

Is "The Final Bell" the song that plays at the end of the fights in 1-3 (as the press absolutely RUSHES the ring)?

Either way, it's "Gonna Fly Now". Nothing is as great as THE RUN in Rocky 1 and 2.

I think so, but I remember it used mainly as the credits for most of the movies.

I always found the Rocky IV fight scene to be....odd. Rocky of course suffers brain damage, but how can Drago KILL Apollo in 2 rounds, but Rocky can take hundres of punches for 15, and still not have his brains completely scrambled?

Determination or not, Rocky should've been dead 5 times over.

Isn't that every Rocky movie? The man never keeps his gloves up to block the punches. He just hulks up and kills them.

What no James Brown "Living in America?"

That was the hokiest part of Rocky IV.

Yeah, but you voted Burning Heart and didn't even include No Easy Way Out, so your opinion doesn't count.

Sorry, no edit feature on these forums for the polls once someone has voted.

Don't justify your mistakes, simply admit them and make good for them.

By never posting again. Not even to reply to this.

After having just listened to No Easy Way Out, I can say that it starts off pretty good and pretty hardy, but quickly declines into whining about Apollo's death. Meanwhile, Burning Heart stays strong.

I put those choices on the polls because I feel they are the only standout songs that are really good (and made specifically for the movie).

Well the main point of Rocky 3 was that he couldn't fight like that. Because Mr T was too strong, so he had to go learn how to dodge and be quick and stuff. The fight at the end was almost kind of a squash match.

As for Rocky 4, the reason Apollo got his ass whooped so bad is because it wasn't supposed to be a real match. It was just supposed to be an exhibition. Apollo went in to have a little fun and Drago went in to beat him down as hard as he could.

Also if you voted for anything other than Eye of the Tiger, you have no soul.

Have you seen the Starbucks commercial?

"Glen, Glen, Glen............someday he hopes to be supervisor~"

Yes, and I wish Survivor followed me around all day. I'd even settle for the guy that followed that one guy around with a boombox playing Eye of the Tiger on that other commercial.
