Very interesting matchup. I think Brando is getting a lot of juice from his recent passing. However, I've always thought DeNiro was overrated. He's got like four or five quirks that he spreads around to all his characters and he's been very unmotivated the past decade. Even when Brando didn't give a shit and wasn't feeling it, he'd make it interesting.

I pick Marlon Brando, even if he didn't care about acting in the end. Streetcar and Waterfront were excellent and better than anything Deniro has ever done, except Raging Bull. If Marlon Brando didn't star in any film in the 50s, Deniro would have been my pick.
