I liked the booking of Wrestlemania 9 (Your Version) As Well.. although you didnt include Doink, which kinda stunk. Doink vs Crush was the best we got at Wrestlemania 9, and you didnt include it. Maybe you should of added Martel vs Doink or something, I dont know.

Did Hogan then leave for WCW?

Either way...interesting format, and I may have to try my hand at this. Cool results, and looking forward to the Survivor Series, which is next, I believe.

Eh.

This could be way better if you did TV results, Tours, and everything else (it's already been suggested).

I have seriously considered adding TV results, but right now I just don't have the time to do that. If someone else would be interested in helping out with some extra stuff like that, then please let me know. If anyone has any others ideas, then please feel free to let me know what they are.

The Quebecers manager, Johnny Polo, refused several times. He stated that The Quebecers shouldn’t have to defend their titles against animals like the Headshrinkers. After several weeks of refusing Albano, Johnny Polo finally agreed to give the Headshrinkers a shot at the titles if one of them could beat Pierre in a singles match. Fatu went on to beat Pierre in a match on Monday Night Raw in late-July and earned his team a WWF tag title shot at SummerSlam in the process.)

(Tension began building between the two brothers in late-93 when Owen got involved in Bret’s title defense against Lex Luger at a TV taping and Owen “accidentally” cost his brother the WWF title. They seemed to make up over the holiday season. Shortly after the Hitman won the Royal Rumble in January, the brothers teamed up to challenge The Quebecers for the WWF tag team championship. It seemed as if the Hart’s were about to win the gold as the Hitman had Pierre locked in the sharpshooter, but Bret’s knee gave out and the referee stopped the match. Owen blamed Bret for the loss and attacked him with a steel chair, turning heel in the process. The week before WrestleMania X, on the March to WrestleMania TV special, Owen scored an upset victory over the Hitman by blocking a victory roll and pinning the former WWF Champion. This allowed Hennig to surprise HBK and score the victory for his team.

Razor Ramon & Curt Hennig were the survivors.

(Mr. Perfect was a surprise partner for Razor’s team. Razor Ramon has been feuding with Diesel & Shawn Michaels over the WWF Intercontinental title throughout the course of the year. Jeff Jarrett and The 1-2-3 Kid have been battling off and on over the course of the last several months.)

Yokozuna was able to get the victory over the Dead Man, but he needed help from several others wrestlers. The Undertaker seemed to disappear after that. Just after SummerSlam, Paul Bearer returned and started showing up at ringside during Yokozuna’s match. In early October, during a Yokozuna squash match, Bearer showed up at ringside along with a casket. Yokozuna was so frightened by this that he ran back to dressing room and was counted out of his match. (Tatanka turned heel back in September on Monday Night Raw. He was teaming with Lex Luger in a match against Bam Bam Bigelow & Irwin R. Schyster. Luger had been on the receiving end of a beat down for several minutes when he was finally able to make the tag. However, just as he was about to tag in the Native American, Tatanka jumped down from the ring apron and headed back to the dressing room. The next week, he revealed that he had joined the “Million Dollar Corporation.” This is the first chance that Luger has had to get revenge on Tatanka since that match. Adam Bomb has been feuding with Bam Bam Bigelow since he scored a victory over the “Beast from the East” back at SummerSlam. The Smoking Gunns have been battling various members of the “Million Dollar Corporation” over the last few months.)

5) WWF Champion Bret Hart defeated Owen Hart (34:42) in a “Steel Cage” match. ***** After the Hitman won the match, Jim Neidhart entered the cage and locked it. Finally, after several minutes of this, Davey Boy Smith was able to climb over the top of the cage and make the save. The Show ended with the rest of the Hart Family in the ring celebrating.

(This feud has been building up for close to a year. Shortly after turning heel, Owen scored an upset victory over his brother Bret. Owen then went on to win the 1994 King of the Ring tournament and earned himself a WWF title shot against the Hitman at SummerSlam. Bret was able to come out ahead in the match-up. However, the feud didn’t end there but it a new twist was added. Jim Neidhart returned to the WWF over the summer and sided with Owen, and Davey Boy Smith returned and sided with the Hitman. Bret and Davey Boy began teaming up and battling Owen & the Anvil at house shows across the country. Finally, at months a feuding, Bret decided to give his brother one last shot at the WWF title, but this time it would inside of a steel cage. 1995 ROYAL RUMBLE

Tampa, Florida – January 22, 1995

1) WWF Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon pinned Tatanka (10:31) after Lex Luger interfered and then delivered a “Razor’s Edge.” **

(Razor Ramon has held the WWF Intercontinental title for just over a year now. Razor accepted the challenge.)

2) Diesel defeatedShawn Michaels (15:22) after the Heartbreak Kid decided that he couldn‘t beat Diesel and got himself intentionally counted out. *** ½

(Shawn Michaels brought Diesel in the WWF during the summer of 1993 as his bodyguard. After several months of just protecting the Heartbreak Kid during matches, Big Daddy Cool began competing as well. After Michaels lost to Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X, Michaels decided to help Diesel win the WWF Intercontinental title. At SummerSlam, Diesel had his chance, and looked like he was about to win the gold, but a missed superkick by HBK caused Razor to retain the championship. During an episode of WWF Action Zone in late-October, Diesel & Michaels challenged the Headshrinkers for their WWF tag team titles. Again, a missed superkick by Michaels caused Big Daddy Cool to be pinned. This time, however, Diesel was furious. After several minutes of arguing between the two, their differences were settled and things were back to normal. At the Survivor Series, in an elimination match, Diesel was again on the receiving end of a superkick and was pinned. The third time was enough. Immediately Diesel went after Michaels. The Heartbreak Kid tried to calm down Big Daddy Cool, but was pinned in the process. After the match Diesel continued to go after Michaels but HBK ran out of the building and got away. The following Monday on WWF Raw, Diesel officially turned babyface by stating that he was tired of Shawn Michaels and that if their paths crossed he we going to take out all his frustrations on him. Several weeks after that, a match was announced for the Royal Rumble.)

3) WWF tag team Champions The Smoking Gunns defeated Bam Bam Bigelow & Irwin R. Schyster (10:23) when Billy Gunn pinned Bigelow. ** ½ After the match, Bigelow was at ringside, disgusted with his performance. As he was preparing to leave, he noticed a fan at ringside laughing. Bigelow took exception to this and shoved the fan. It turned out that the fan Bigelow pushed was former football star Lawrence Taylor.

(The Smoking Gunns won the WWF tag team titles from The Headshrinkers on the 1st episode of WWF Raw in 1995. Bart Gunn pinned Samu after Jacob & Eli Blu interfered in the match and attacked the Headshrinkers while the referee was knocked unconscious. Schyster & Bigelow have been teaming off-and-on for about a year now. Just before the Gunns won the tag titles, Bigelow & Schyster scored a victory over them on an episode of WWF Superstars.)

4) Bob Backlund defeated WWF Champion Bret Hart (27:29) in an “I Quit” match after Owen Hart, who was in Backlund’s corner, convinced his mother to throw in the towel and signal that Bret had given up. **** ¼

(Bob Backlund is a former WWF Champion. He held the title for almost 6 years between 1978 and 1983. He left the WWF shortly after losing the title to The Iron Sheik. He returned to the WWF in the fall of 1992. He stated then that it was his goal to regain the title that he once held. However, he didn’t find much success. In October 1994, Backlund challenged Bret Hart to a match for his WWF Championship. The Hitman granted the title shot to Backlund. The match occurred on WWF Action Zone, and was won by the champion after reversing an inside cradle. After the match, Bret extended his had to former champ, but then Backlund snapped. He put the crossface chicken wing on the champion and refused to let go. It took several WWF officials to get Backlund off the Hitman. Several weeks after that incident, Backlund snapped again; this time while being interviewed by Vince McMahon. He applied the crossface chicken wing on McMahon and it took several officials to get him to release the hold. After that incident, Backlund went around attacking several different wrestlers, and then challenged the Hitman to a rematch. The match was signed, but there were several stipulations included. First, the match would be an “I Quit” match. Second, both wrestlers would have another wrestler in their corner. Davey Boy Smith would be Bret’s and Owen Hart would be in Backlund’s. Third, the only way for the match to end would be for either Smith & Owen to throw in the towel for the man that they represented.)

(Tatanka turned heel back in September during a tag match in which he was teaming with Luger against Bam Bam Bigelow & Irwin R. Schyster. Luger had been on the receiving end of a beat down for several minutes when he was finally able to make the tag. However, just as he was about to tag in the Native American, Tatanka jumped down from the ring apron and headed back to the dressing room. The following week, Tatanka was interviewed and he revealed that he had joined the “Million Dollar Corporation.” He stated that being cheered by the fans had never gotten him anything, and that it was time for a change. At the Survivor Series, Luger was able to score a pinfall victory over Tatanka in an elimination match just before being pinned himself. They finally had a one-on-one match on WWF Action Zone in February. Tatanka was able to get the victory over Luger with a little assistance from Ted DiBiase. They had a rematch that occurred on WWF Monday Night Raw several weeks later. That match went to a double count out. Razor had “injured’ his leg the previous night, and Jarrett was able to take advantage of this and win the title; with a little help from The Roadie who was at ringside. Several weeks after losing the title, Ramon did an interview on WWF Superstars and demanded a rematch. However, Jarrett refused to grant him the title shot. Jarrett did state that if Razor could defeat The Roadie in a match, he would grant him the title shot at WrestleMania. During the course of that match, Jarrett interfered several times, trying to prevent Ramon from victory. But the Bad Guy was able to overcome all the odds and get his rematch. Several weeks after the match was signed, it was announced that their WrestleMania match would be a Ladder match.)

6) Davey Boy Smith pinned Shawn Michaels (13:44) after a running powerslam. Psycho Sid attempted to interfere in the match by delivering a chair shot to Smith. However, he nailed Michaels “accidentally.” ****

(Back at the Royal Rumble in January, Davey Boy Smith appeared the have eliminated the Heartbreak Kid. However, Michaels was able to hold on and prevent both feet from touching the floor. He returned to the ring and quickly eliminated a distracted Smith. Davey Boy was very upset over this and wanted to get his hands on Michaels in form possible. His first chance was during a Battle Royal on WWF Superstars in February. However, Michaels eliminated himself before Smith could get his revenge. Two weeks later, on an episode “The King’s Court” on WWF Monday Night Raw, the Heartbreak Kid introduced Psycho Sid as his new bodyguard. In early-March, a match was announced between Michaels and Davey Boy for WrestleMania.)

7) “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig pinned Jerry Lawler (11:54) after a “Perfect-Plex.” ** ¾

(Just after Curt Hennig returned to the WWF at the Survivor Series, Jerry Lawler began taking exception to Hennig calling himself “perfect.” Lawler claimed that since he was a “King” that only he should be considered “perfect.” These two began a war of words that would lead up to this match.)

8) WWF tag team Champions The Smoking Gunns defeated The Heavenly Bodies (10:31) after Billy pinned Dr. Tom Pritchard. ***

(The Heavenly Bodies received a WWF tag team title shot against The Smoking Gunns on WWF Monday Night Raw in February. However, that match went to a 20-minute time-limit draw. This is a rematch.)

9) Bret Hart defeated Owen Hart (23:46) by submission to the “Sharpshooter” in a No-Holds-Barred match. **** ½

(These two brothers have been feuding for just over a year at this point. In their first ever match, Owen was able to score an upset victory over the Hitman. However, Bret was able to get the upper hand in all of their encounters after that. At the Royal Rumble in January, Bret was defending his WWF title against Bob Backlund in an “I Quit” match. Owen was in the challengers corner and Davey Boy Smith was in the champions. The object of the match was to get your opponents corner man to throw in the towel, signaling that they quit. During the course of that match, Smith was knocked unconscious. Owen then was able to convince their mother, Helen Hart, to throw in the towel signaling that Bret quit the match. Bret was “injured’ during the course of the match and was out of action for several weeks. He returned at the end of February and immediately targeted his brother for revenge. Shortly after the Hitman’s return, this match was announced.)

10) Lawrence Taylor pinned Bam Bam Bigelow (15:23) following 3 elbow smashes to the face. ** ¾

(At the Royal Rumble, Bigelow teamed with Irwin R. Schyster to challenge the Smoking Gunns for the WWF tag team titles. Bigelow was pinned by Billy Gunn after Bigelow collided with Schyster, who was standing on the ring apron. After the match, Bigelow was at ringside, disgusted with his performance. As he was preparing to leave, he noticed a fan at ringside laughing. Bigelow took exception to this and shoved the fan. It turned out that the fan Bigelow pushed was former football star Lawrence Taylor. Several weeks later, the “Beast from the East” came out for an interview and challenged Taylor to a match at WrestleMania. Taylor’s attorneys issued a statement the following weekend on WWF programming that stated that Taylor had no intention of participating in a wrestling and demanded an apology for Bigelow’s actions at the Rumble PPV. Bigelow agreed to give Taylor an apology, but wanted to give it to him in person and requested that he appear on WWF Monday Night Raw in early-March. The former star agreed. Bam Bam began to apologize, and then stopped in mid-sentence. He then attacked Taylor. The following week, at the WrestleMania XI press conference, it was announced that Lawrence Taylor would indeed square off against Bam Bam Bigelow in a wrestling match.)

11) Irwin R. Schyster pinned Adam Bomb (7:08) by using the ropes for leverage. * ¼

12) Diesel pinned WWF Champion Bob Backlund (10:15) after a “Jackknife” powerbomb. **

(Bob Backlund turned heel back in October after he was pinned by then WWF Champion Bret Hart in a title match. He snapped after the match and placed the champion in the crossface chicken wing. It took several WWF officials to get Backlund to release the hold. That encounter lead to a rematch at the Royal Rumble. However, the rematch was contested under “I Quit” rules. In that match, Backlund was able to regain the WWF title, with little assistance from corner man Owen Hart. Diesel turned babyface back at the Survivor Series after he got tired of Shawn Michaels “accidentally” hitting him with superkicks. He then entered himself into the Royal Rumble match. Big Daddy Cool was able to win that match and earn himself a WWF title match at WrestleMania. During the contract signing several weeks before WrestleMania, Backlund attacked Diesel and attempted to place the big man in the crossface chicken wing, but was unable.)
