LOST

Oh fuck. Locke is one of my favourite characters _ever_. I loved the patheticness they gave his character, even though it totally went against any preconceptions I had about him and his past. EVERY scene with him in it was amazing and when he finally got up and realized he could walk again had me jumping for joy. He may be military and his records could have been confidential, or he could have been "playing" general much in the same way he was "playing" boyfriend to Helen. He just had a lot of spare time at home and practiced throwing knifes.

Like Curry said, the look Charley gave after finding out about Shannons bet was awesome. He is totally rocking this character.

Good LOWAD Shannon looked smoking, cooking, steaming, boiling HOT.

Tawren DEAD ON with Jacks characterization. I was wondering why he seemed so down and you nailed it.

Kate is still crazy hot. I'm contemplating putting her back in my sig because the Red Sox keep on choking.[/img]

Yeah, Kate looks like she doesn't choke.

(Rudo 1, Kate 0)

The thought of there being another group of survivors, I think, is to have something to "go to" when they need ideas.

I'm kinda pissed they're telling who the guy-in-the-suit is in the next goddamn episode, because that was a fucking sweet image of him standing under the tree.

Sayid and Sawyer continue to rule in different ways.

Michael and Asian chicks relationship continues to suck, unless it leads to DDK smacking the kid, then it's great.

I just watched the show, since the Sox were on at the same time.

I'll write more tomorrow, but bah Gawd, that was one good fuckin episode.

Those crazy wild animals, whatever they were I don't remember, were crazy and caused some shit. And then Locke fuckin comes out with the animal. Food for all.

Jack is just going crazy.

J.J. Abrams is one of the best writers there is. If there is anyone who knows how to create a twist, it is him.

Yeah, he kinda out Shalymaned M Night Shalyman. Luckily for us Abrams isn't a one note hack like Shalyman. Anyways I suppose I can now forgive him for the Superman script.

Sayid and Sawyer continue to rule in different ways.

I think we need to start calling Sayid "The Professor"...

"Don't tell me what I can't do" <------ So hot right now.

Great line, but would it work as a pickup line?

Minor Spoiler/Theory for next week

On ABC.com it's posted that "Jack is near delirious from lack of sleep and struggles to overcome the haunting events that brought him to Australia and, subsequently, to the island."

So, what brought him to the island?

Kate (when climbing the tree): I've climbed worse.

Somebody escaped from prision.

See, the first thing I thought was that she was one of those hippies that protests logging by climbing trees to prevent them from being felled. Your theory >> mine.

Interesting to see Locke survive from whatever that thing was in the tree (guessing the animal that killed the Pilot) AND manage to kill a boar. Locke denying seeing the monster tells you SOMETHING was fucked up with it.

My guess was that he didn't kill the boar, the 'creature' did ... that's why he was so evasive when congratulated on killing the boar.

EDIT: I added a 'd' to the last boar, thus making it seem that Locke went online and killed a message board. I removed it from this, but it can still be found where starvenger quoted me. I feel so stupid when I mis-spell online.

The first thing I thought about with that line was porn. But that's just me.

Good call. I hadn't thought of that.

I watched the 4th episode again. Really didn't see the big swerve coming, which was great. I don't get nearly enough of that in the stuff I watch nowadays. I was curious about the focus on Locke's foot, and the appearance of the wheelchair to haul wood, earlier in the episode. There's also a few clues in the lunchroom dialogue. "On foot?", "You can't do any of that." (seemed like the boss was being a twat, not speaking literally), and the Everest amputee. Those were all nice, subtle touches. Bringing up that Locke maybe wasn't in the military kind of reminded me of "That ain't a shepherd." And not that it'll matter down the line, but this also makes his boss that much more of a douche, picking on the crippled guy.

Shannon pulling a Jessica Lovejoy obviously helped establish her a little more as a spoiled bitch. I watched this week's Law & Order: SVU this morning, which had Maggie Grace (Shannon) as a guest star. She also played a Swedish foreign exchange student named Elke on Oliver Beene, which I would usually watch, when it was on.

Anyone figure they'll try to get the actors to slim down a bit? It's only the 4th day, and there's been food around, but that ain't gonna last. I'm thinking Hurley, of course.

Claire = MILF~!

Finally, I made a new signature. Didn't really turn out how I wanted it, but when you suck at Photoshopping without Photoshop, them's the breaks. I think the tag line is clever, at least. :)

SHIT, the lost cast pictures are HILARIOUS. Sawyer is soooooooooo overly soulful in them. Like a tortured boyband member. HOLY CRAP, Sawyer and Sayid are battling it out in their cast pictures. Sayid is all like "Oh yeah? You playin that look.. well I can look off into the distance too motherfucker!"

Guest Evolution
Rudo's reactions aren't as hot as Shannon or Kate. Or Claire, for that matter.

Claire could have a miscarriage just thinking about it.

~!~!~!~!~!~!

“Lost” is no longer the best new show on television; it’s now the best show on television. How long can they keep it up?

The Maury Povich connection to “You All Everybody” notwithstanding, TV Guide’s current “Secrets of Lost” cover-story doesn’t reveal much I hadn’t already heard, but it does betray some of the flashback batting order:

Tonight (“White Rabbit”): Jack

Oct. 27 (“House of the Rising Sun”): Sun & Jin (~!~!~!~!)

Nov. 3 (“The Moth”): Charlie & Driveshaft

That leaves two more November sweeps episodes before the show goes into post-Thanksgiving repeats. Will they deal with

Shannon & Boone,

* Michael & Walt,

* Sayid,

* Sawyer,

* Pregnant Claire, or

* Hurley?

The Dec. 15 installment, “Raised by Another,” has got to deal with Michael and Walt, right?

“Solitary” (Nov. 17) sounds like it could be about Sayid or Sawyer.

The Nov. 10 episode is called “Confidence Man,” so it’ll be real interesting to learn if that title refers to Sayid, Sawyer, Hurley or the guy who knocked up Claire.

8 p.m. Wednesday. ABC.

At this point Sayid deserves a flashback episode more then anybody else on that show.

Oh, and Rudo, I need you to tape the show for me.

And then bring it down to work so I can watch it when I get home.

Tanks, buddy.

Since nobody has posted it yet. THE ALMIGHTY PREVIEW GUIDE!~

Wednesday, October 20, 8/7c

"White Rabbit"

Jack is near delirious from lack of sleep and struggles to overcome the haunting events that brought him to Australia and, subsequently, to the island. Meanwhile, Boone gets caught in a treacherous riptide, the pregnant Claire's health takes a bad turn, and a thief may have stolen the last bottles of water.

Soooooooooooo.............

- What brought Jack to Australia? 2:1 odds say it's got something to do with daddy.

- Is Lost pulling a Snitsky?

- Did Walt steal the water because Vincent was thirsty?

- What will LOCKE kill this week?

- Will Shannon disrobe and swim out to save her brother while providing us all with pants-engorging visuals?

Tune the fuck in, bitches!~

Obviously, that would be nice, but since she's apparently Cleopatra reincarnate, I'm gonna have to say no.

I wonder if they'll have more flashbacks of Locke's life at Initech?

My sister was telling me how they MIGHT not show LOST tonight because of baseball.

But I think she got the wrong information.
