The Electrifyer Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 A few cool links: http://lost.cubit.net/investigations.php http://www.mrclucks.com/ http://www.mrclucks.com/links.html I loved this latest episode, one of my favorites of the series. I love the fucked up stuff just like everyone, but it's nice to have a more straight forward emotional episode as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What do you think the answer to the word jumble is? Here it is again, btw: Hey Cluck.. Thanks for letting us take over your site. We are done.. for now... But here is something to keep your customers busy. A word jumble: JACK WILL DI- --- ---- -- --- -----! PSHISEOTINEOHCTNEA Later!
GeneMean Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 A word jumble: JACK WILL DI- --- ---- -- --- -----! PSHISEOTINEOHCTNEA Jack will dip his toes in the ocean! ??
Mik Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 This site looks to me like someone's creation and not an official Lost site.
Downhome Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 If you go to the link I posted before, the page will change into what you see above. I didn't even notice the coupon until just now:
GeneMean Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 This site looks to me like someone's creation and not an official Lost site. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it's done by the folks who do the Delta Park Project Podcast. I've listened to their show for a long time and those two are big time into the show.
dubq Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Two words. Holland FUCKING Manners. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh, just had a thought. He and Jin should form an alliance and open an Island branch of WRH. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wolfram & Hart. The actors who play Jin & Bernard also played WRH lawyers on Angel.
Downhome Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Their Lost podcasts are linked at this site, and holy shit do they suck. They keep saying that the Dharma logo on the plane is a just a photoshop job, but it clearly isn't. Unless someone stole my DVDs, replaced the originals with an edited version that includes the logo on the plane, then they are wrong. I see it as clear as day on my DVDs.
Sideburnious Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Sorry if this has been posted before but my new theory is that the others (the ones that took walt) are in another bunker on the island. On the video they said one of the things the project set out to do was a sort of mind control one (can't remember the exact name), and they had a girl between two conductors. I'd say thats the bunker they are in and they are still doing tests. We already know Walt has some sort of powers and thats why they were after him. Oh and that Anna Lucia needs a kick in the teeth.

Which could still tie in to why they wanted Walt - he can control things with his mind.

Not many things on this show are a coincidence. We've been seeing this logo on all kinds of things, even a shark. I don't think it's that much of a stretch to think it was on the plane that brought all of these people here in the first place.
Guest JesusJuiced Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Which episode are the Jack screencaps from?
iggymcfly Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Yeah, if you notice on the video, it says that the Dharma project researches zoology, psychology, parapsychology, meteorology, electromagnetism, and utopian social... (cut off and moved to another part of the video). That's six fields of research, for the six stations in the Dharma project. I'm guessing that there is a hatch for each one. The hatch that Locke found is obviously the hatch for psychology, as they are testing to see whether people will take the medicine and type in the code every hour and a half when it's clear that neither one is necessary. Of course, even folowing that theory, they could still have the hatch for electromagnetism, given what we've seen of the magnets in the bottom of the facility. If there is anything real to entering the code, the only reasonable explanation I can think of is that it's a self-destruct mechanism to destroy evidence of what's in the hatches should anyone else take over that's not specifically linked to the Dharma project.

I had no idea you took the screencaps personally. Either way, I checked the DVDs a few nights ago and they are indeed there.

Stephen Joseph Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 (edited) edit: nevermind, theyre on lost-tv too edit: and yeah, their hatch is for electromagnetic research watching ep 3 now Edited October 16, 2005 by Stephen Joseph

I did take the captures of the shark that I posted earlier though. If anyone ever wants any captures, let me know.

Lord of The Curry Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Alright, for fucks sake. The ASIAN in the video. Looked Korean-ish to me.
iggymcfly Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Yeah, if you notice on the video, it says that the Dharma project researches zoology, psychology, parapsychology, meteorology, electromagnetism, and utopian social... In fact, now that I think of it, it's perfectly reasonable that the magnet would just be a diversion to distract from that fact.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 It's not a diversion. If anything the psychology aspect is an ulterior motive. I'm sure that every hatch on the island (how many there are is still in question) is being studied for the psychological effect it has on the people inside it.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 16, 2005 Author Report Posted October 16, 2005 If the objective was to keep people in the bunker, that would explain why "Quarantine" was written on the inside rather than the outside.
Ravenbomb Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 So they'd think everything OUTSIDE the bunker was the quarantine
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 16, 2005 Author Report Posted October 16, 2005 Or that if they'd go outside they would get sick. So hey, you're down there, nothin better to do, why not just enter the code in and push the execute button? I can't imagine the participants of the study would know the realities of the experiment. They'd probably be people like the ones crashed on the island - wake up one day and you're there. Someone tells you the scenario and leaves. It's all about fear and control.
Stephen Joseph Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 I don't believe it was a psychological experiment. We'll learn more this week when we see OTHERS!
Lord of The Curry Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 "We don't go that way. That's where they came from." Fucking STOKED for this week. Whacky Theory #4554- Locke's father (Mr. Cooper) is the original Sawyer. Heard it while hammered Friday night, didn't really hit me until the other day. Not sure if it could work out, timeline-wise but it's something to ponder.
